That's two players at training camp that have never played the sport before. Pretty weird but alright.

 

In fact I'd bet anything he's coming to camp because he's a gold medal winner and McDermott thinks the team can learn something from that.

dude i mentioned this a few weeks ago when we signed that UK dude.

 

I had to double take. Gable is aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamazing as an athlete. tough as they come. this could be fun.

His size could be enough as a DE, I would think his lack of height could work to his advantage as could slip underneath OTs and rush to QBs. The question then would be if he has enough foot speed to get to a QB and athletic enough to take a QB down legally. I don't mind taking a chance at this juncture, at best think he'll be a PS member yet don't expect him to make it that far once preseason starts.

Cool story but Brock Lesnar, as massive and strong as he was and also an Olympic level wrestler didn't make it with the Vikings.  Football leverage is different.  

I don't see anything coming from this but maybe this guy is different.
