And for the record, Biden is an awful president. Like I mentioned in another thread, all the GOP had to do was nominate literally anyone other than the orange stain and win the white house in a landslide. But MAGAts are so dedicated to this man who sells them golden sneakers, bibles (😂😂😂) and superhero NFTs that they just couldn’t nominate someone who wasn’t revolting to half the country. They don't disparage anyone who hasn't kissed the ring of Trump as a RINO or a commie. But right here on PPP is where you'll find those types. You could make an argument for 1876 but that’s about it. Given the GOP’s plans, however, it’s unlikely that future elections wouldn’t be fixed. Personally, I’ll be fine. I’m a straight white dude with a great job living in a blue bastion. I’ll be sad, and there’s a chance his policies impact my job negatively, but overall, it won’t be a disaster for me. I’ll have to check in with my more vulnerable friends to see if they need support. At least one friend does have plans to head to Canada due to being LGBT. My wife and I will have to have a serious talk about if we want more kids. She has a condition that makes her likely to miscarry (she’s had five miscarriages) and if Trump signs a national law that mirrors what we see in Texas, her getting pregnant will be a serious risk for her health. Everything points to him being more off the hook and unrestrained than last time.
