We make it an annual long weekend trip, and this year will be no exception.  Always have a lot of fun.  Prefer to stay on South Beach.  Like @plenzmd1 said earlier in the thread, I'm not looking for Bills fans to hang out with; I'm enjoying the beach, food, drink, and culture.  Seeing Bills fans at the game is enough for me.

This year's Bills-Dolphins game is perfectly positioned to coincide with maximum chance of a significant hurricane.  Enjoy!

But at least it will be a night game...

And with Miami already setting heat records in May and having more hours already this month with heat indexes over 108 then they have in any other YEAR total outside of last year which was the hottest on record there. With summer having not even started, it's likely to be another brutal first month and a half down there to play in.

I’ve been several times with my wife.   Three years running, now.   We’ll be there in September, as well.

It is worth going.  For us, it’s two different trips.

When we stay in South Beach, it’s a beach resort with fine dining and upscale cocktails with my beloved Bills smack dab in the middle.  We run into Bills fans here and there.

When we stay in Lauderdale, it’s a three or four day party with some die (very) hard Bills fans who fill lobbies and take over bars.   We stay at a place off the Ocean that, while it has a resort feel and great pool, doesn’t give us the beach.   The beach is close, of course.

South Beach:  Higher end dining and cocktails everywhere.   Art, music and architecture.

Lauderdale:     “Hey, ay ay AY - Let’s GO BUFFALO!” with some still nice pools and drinks.

I went once and had a blast. Bills won in OT. But I will say this - it's a rough area! We stayed in Hollywood at the Hard Rock Hotel. "Interesting" people lurking around as it had a casino. Gameday tailgating was actually awesome! But the Miami fans were brutal. Kind of a scummy atmosphere IMO. I felt unsafe at times. Hollywood FLA is quite a hole. Just my 2 cents.

I mean unsafe as in low lifes around everywhere you go. Unhealthy street druggies.

Not sure I'd stay in Miami proper, but check out Little Havana if you have time.  That's always fun with good food.

was going to recommend little Havana.  Food is amazing.

It's been a while since i've been to a game in Miami but get ready those fans will rag on you as much as possible, they may have cooled their jets a bit seeing as we have Josh now but i would be willing to bet since they have beaten the Bills recently they will be as relentless as usual .

We always stay at the EmbassySuites in Deerfield Beach when we go.  Didn't go last season... But was there for the September 2022 "Heat DebacleFest."

This is us Bills fans congratulating Tyrod after his 44-14 victory squishing da fish! 😆 Riveting!  Just move down to tunnel in the stands after Bills win.

9-27-2015, Bills 44-14

Wow... Will it almost be 10 years!!

I lived in the Fort Lauderdale area for 8 years from 2012 to 2020...were you walking around the area where Hard Rock is?!

Hollywood is pretty cool, and has awesome parts, but also has some rough areas...walking around the Hard Rock hotel area like in the area off the hotel grounds, yeah I'd definitely not at all recommend doing that

August and Sept are the only

months I like to get away from Florida. Living here in South Florida and SW Fl for almost 2 decades, I can say it will be hot, possibly rainy and very humid which leads to rain.

I would stay at the hard rock hotel unless you really want the beach then I’d go to lauderdale or Dania beach. Unless you like tons of people then go to Hollywood / Miami.

Traffic is a nightmare so plan in advance for game day travel.

I never had a bad experience with dolphins fans most are fair weathered and just there for fun. This isn’t Philly 😂

If you are looking for some most do’s I would check out key biscayne state park beach, deep sea fishing, or an airboat ride in the Everglades

We usually do a AirBnB in Coral Gables.  Just our speed and good vibe for seniors.  Sergio’s for Cuban, Grazianos for Argentine.  Doc Bs is popular.  Nice Italian in Biltmore Hotel.  Coral Way has casual to fancy.  We really like Hard Rock.  Great views and loud.  Bills fans take over.

Key Biscayne Park is great.

I’ve been out of the loop for a game since Covid, what’s to be expected to pay for “good” seats?  Im seeing 300 levels for ~200, and lower level in the mid field area over 600, is that the new normal?  I want good seats, just don’t want to over spend.

It's been brutally hot the last week and a half down here. Unbearable.

Don’t worry, October will be here before you know it. Then it will almost be over.  😋

My wife hated it almost as much as I loved it.
