QLBillsFan Posted May 10 Posted May 10 Seems like Gore is immediately ahead of TJ on the depth chart on this thread? TJ has earned a spot on this roster and will hard to move out. Gore is a PS guy as TJ has a different element in his game. 2 1 Quote

Spotrac is caught up with the UDFAs and only the rookies left to account for. I figure around $1.7M of Top 51 cap to sign the rookies. Spotrac has Bills at $2.98M minus the $1.7M leaves about $1.28M before the Tre money gets released June 1st. Gives Beane enough to sign 1-2 cheap FAs with enough left over for PS and season cash. All in all, Beane did OK with his cap so far considering all the changes. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/_/year/2024 https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cba/rookie-scale Hyde will sign after June 1. I feel like it is just meant to be 2 1 1 Quote

But the last two years Browning took over the job and served as both punter and placekicker as well as handled kickoffs. Career long FG of 61. Apparently has a live leg. I don’t know of he really unseats Martin, but he is definitely interesting and may improve being able to focus on punting alone. Maybe we can get rid of Martin and Bass. That would really help with the cap space. 1 Quote
Sierra Foothills Posted May 10 Posted May 10 11 hours ago, billsfan89 said: The two corners Lovely and Couch. The Bills carry 6 corners usually (with Cam Lewis listed as a safety) and right now Ingram is listed as the 6th CB. Ingram has spent the past two years bouncing between the PS and 53, clearly for him to hang around the system for 2 seasons and signed for a 3rd camp he's got something the coaching staff likes. However, if Lovely or Couch really impress it's not beyond the realm of possibility that they try to get Ingram back on the PS. Frank Gore Jr. Davis and Cook will make the 53 but the Bills carry 3 pure RB's and I do think Ty Johnson is more likely to be the RB2 than get cut but if Gore Jr has a really strong camp and Johnson has a lackluster camp there is the possibility of displacement. Injury could also be a factor here. Browning. Kicker/Punter is always a volatile position and Martin is not coming off a great season either. So a punter getting on the 53 is always a reasonable possibility. The rest are likely battling for PS spots unless they really show out which while possible is not always likely. You think Ty Johnson will be aheadof Ray Davis on the depth chart? Quote

With this regime, Ty will be #2 to start, but if Davis flashes and he could be the defacto #2. 1 Quote

My youtube and internet scouting has come up with former walk on played Rb/wr. Looks like a less explosive Samuel. Played special teams and also return. I think he is similar to Shavers but more versatile. Not much production but was schemed into the offense. Quote

I liked the Zach Moss pick, and he's showing out with Indy. Of course I loved the Kincaid pick and I even recommended back in January that the Bills draft Cole Bishop. But I also held out hope that the Bills would draft Bills. I don't know if he's an NFL-caliber player or not, but boy that jersey would be special. 2 Quote
