TheCockSportif Posted May 8 Posted May 8 https://www.nytimes.com/2024/05/08/arts/music/steve-albini-dead.html If you heard any late 1980s / 1990s "alternative" rock, his stamp was all over it. 2 Quote
Ralonzo Posted May 9 Posted May 9 (edited) RIP in peace... sure I could post Pixies or In Utero, but Albini generally only produced stuff that interested him, and it didn't matter if it didn't interest anyone else. This might be one of those lost items Curiously, his alternative career was a world-class poker player. HORSE is a discipline of 5 different poker games, it's really for the hardcore players. Impressive as af. Edited May 9 by Ralonzo Quote
thenorthremembers Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Was very surprised by this one. Feel like I just watched him being interviewed with the surviving members of Nirvana for In Utero's 25th Anniversary. I dont have the link for the full interview but if you're a 90's music fan do yourself a favor and listen to that episode of Conan O'Brien Needs a Friend. RIP and thank you for helping to make one of my favorite albums of all time. 2 Quote
