MikePJ76 Posted May 10 Posted May 10 I hate the nfl on xmas eve or xmas day. Can't we have one or two days to eat too much and watch movies with the fam without the nfl having to hijack it. It seems the nfl's plan is to take complete control over every major holiday. There is going to be a july 4th bowl before we know it. I mean come on I just want to have a drink and watch Die Hard without worrying I am missing an important game. 1 2 1 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted May 10 Author Posted May 10 (edited) Someone mentioned they took a tour of the Bills stadium yesterday and the tour guide said rumor is week 1 vs SF and Christmas Day vs NYJ I'd be quite surprised if we opened against SF Edited May 10 by Warriorspikes51 Quote

Wednesday Christmas Day at 4:30 then travelling to Seattle for a Sunday game would be rather outrageous.... 3 SNF games but only 1 MNF would be surprising as well I'd expect 2 & 2 I thought every team had to have a Thursday game? I thought it was crazy, until I realize the NFL often expects teams to play on a Sunday, and then on the following Thursday. Same number of days. *which is still crazy Edited May 10 by Rubes 1 1 Quote

Warriorspikes51 Posted May 10 Author Posted May 10 (edited) ^ we would need to be playing really good football in September.... 1-2 or 0-3 are real possibilities with that proposed schedule 2 minutes ago, Gregg said: Even if the Bills did play in this short of a period of time, I doubt the league would make them fly across the country. It would probably be two games on the EC. Maybe....but the league simply does not care about the Bills. Our 3rd Round pick was stolen. They put us in "an experiment" in London per Roger. If it wasn't for a new stadium being built, NFL would be looking to move this team Edited May 10 by Warriorspikes51 1 Quote

In a perfect world, if we are going to 18 games, I would embrace what Joe Burrow said and give every team a bye week the week of Christmas and then stagger the other byes throughout the year and try to have Super Bowl Sunday to hit during President Day weekend.
