We have ty Johnson

Why do we need another of him

because players get hurt and ideally you don't want Ty Johnson as your #1 back if Cook misses time?

More than WR?  C'mon man.  We got nobody to throw the ball to.

Yes, unfortunately.

Look, there are only so many balls to go around on Offense.

Samuel

Coleman

Shakir

Kincaid

Knox

Cook

Anyone we draft at this point is coming in as maybe our 6th or 7th option at best. Probably wouldnt even beat out Shorter or Isabella.

Any DT or Safety we draft will see decent playing time and have opportunities to directly contribute every snap they play.

I want another WR too. Dont get me wrong. But at this point, we're likely looking at cuts not draft picks.

ESPN guys love Ray Davis, fwiw

Emphasized his pass catching ability, which is likely a big focus for our offense when it comes to RB’s.

We needed another WR.  Coleman is not a true #1.

you should write a letter to the pegula family and tell them this.

did we not draft a WR with our first pick? Any WR you draft here is going to be #4 on the depth chart best case scenario and the #6 or #7 option in the passing game.

I expect they might take a late round flier on a guy, but if they don't there are plenty of FAs available if they decide we need a player there (i don't think we do though.

Beane has it set on Auto-draft.  He’s too busy grappling with McD.

We took a page from the NE book and have turned this draft over to the dog

We weren't getting a # 1 WR at pick 28 anyways. I don't know why thats so hard to understand. The only 3 guys like that were the top 3 and maybe Thomas Jr if he develops

Paused watching the message board to watch the Ray Davis mini-movie. I didn't realize his back story. I get it: Pass-catching, thicker RB with a nose for the EZ. I feel like Beane liked his story better than Braelon Allen's. Time will tell if it was the right pick, but you can't root against a guy like Davis. Dude is a beast, and he's fought his whole life. I'm down with the pick, the value, and the need was definitely there.

What if keon Coleman gets hurt

Then you have Shakir, Kincaid and Samuel. I'm not banking on Coleman to be anything more than our 4th most productive receiver. It's a bit different with RB where our #2 will likely take 35-40% of the snaps.

I'd love to see it!  The offense I'm envisioning churns out first downs, hits homeruns from time to time.
