Gotta love the ESPN draft analysis "great 3 tech to pair with Ed Oliver" meanwhile Oliver is a 3 tech.

I mean they could make a great combo on 3rd downs.

Dukes defense was actually one of the best in the country this year

The Dallas guys loved him and said he dominated in the Notre Dame Game.

Reach.  Didn’t visit with him.  Depth player.

First three rounds are for starters.

Three picks, one offensive player.

We never learn.

Taking DT 4 over a WR with speed is…..

___________

The DT will probably play far more snaps than a WR picked right now

I feel bad for JA17 at this point. Our WR group is Shakir, Samuel, Hollins, Shorter, and Coleman.

Or, like I told you over and over for weeks...we weren't trading up for one of the big 3...we werent trading for one of the big names around teh league and we were not taking 2 WR's early in the draft.

Some of you build teams like this is Madden.  In the NFL, you win in the trenches.

They just can’t help themselves. Right back to defense we go. And then said defense can’t get one stop when it matters in a big spot.

Therefore don't draft D players. 🤔

FWIW (probably not much) he was Chris Simms' 3rd ranked DT behind Byron Murphy and Darius Robinson.

I have zero opinion on the player. I just come away underwhelmed we once again spent two top 100 picks on defense. This draft featured a great opportunity to build the core around Allen for the second half of his career. Feels like we missed the boat on valuable offensive positions on day two.

But maybe Carter is a great player and that's obviously what matters.

How about we let the new guys play.. a down before we blame them for previous players failures?

The writeups on this guy seem very positive. Would've preferred Franklin or Walker but this was a need. Let's hope Buffalo will still grab a 2nd wide out with speed

Perhaps they don't value him as much due to Pac 10 not playing any D? Have a hard time believing 3 Washington WRs were better than him tho

That’s what I mean, like Polk sure. But McMillan?
