In case you forget this, you can come back and read it. So what teams DO draft 100% BPA if I may ask? Once you have a reasonably good team, seems to me you can't draft entirely BPA, or you wind up with too many OLmen and no DB or vice versa. I think all the good teams draft need-modified or need-influenced BPA. 1 1 Quote

MikePJ76 Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Dane Brugler had Renardo Green at 133 big miss for Brugler or the niners 1 Quote
billsherd Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Like this pick. With Mike Edwards and Cole Bishop and Rapp backing them up we should be fine at S. 2 2 Quote

Looks like Mike Edwards is their free safety. off chance Hyde comes back as a cagey vet in a reduced role they could have a lot of talent and package options in the back of the defense 3 1 Quote

sven233 Posted April 27 Posted April 27 This is a solid pick. He's fast for a S, has good instincts, and can hit pretty well too. Good athlete on the back end that should grow into a very good replacement for Poyer sooner rather than later. I mean, the thing is, I will never worry about any secondary picks we make because the one thing McDermott and his system does is maximize player's talents on the back end. Elam might be the exception here, but his skill set never fit with the system we run. Wouldn't surprise me at all if he ends up being a solid player somewhere else someday. 1 Quote
sonyab1974 Posted April 27 Posted April 27 What happened to Damar Hamlin? He isn't safety anymore? 1 Quote

How do you figure McDermott of all coaches, is going to bench Rapp for a rookie? Not happening, look at Rapps contract combined with the fact he has a year in the system. Quote
