Mat68 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 (edited) I was vocal against him. Picking up a 3rd and get him im in. Those that wanted a power forward type. He played basketball at Michigan State. Looks the part and does the things Shakir and Samuels dont. Solid pick at the spot. Edited April 26 by Mat68 2 1 2 Quote
TOboy Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Tough crowd in here. I’d have preferred Mitchell, but there were probably character concerns. The 40 time and lack of separation is definitely concerning, but if you watch him play, he’s athletic. Here’s what I like about the pick: - He brings size we didn’t have to our WR room - strong hands. and a big catch radius - Pairing him with Kincaid and Knox in the red zone we’ll create mismatches - Young player with room to grow Again not my first choice, but Josh and the front office like him. I’ll be rooting him on and hoping I was wrong in preferring other WR’s. 5 1 Quote

Steptide Posted April 26 Posted April 26 I didn't realize who this was at first. This is the dude that ran the gauntlet at the combine perfectly. K, I'm a little excited now. Dude looks like he has awesome hands 1 Quote

That's not big enough to bully cbs in the pros Not very good at contested catches like everyone assumes.. Limited route tree and route running skills... I think he has a hard time getting open in the pros. I sincerely hope I'm wrong but I think Beane completely blew it. He does nothing elite, Coleman's yprr metrics were all in the lower percentiles...there were a number of wrs I'd have taken before him. Bummer He's not even 21 lol. He's gonna change his body to an even better form. Quote

I have a family member who used to work as a Bills scout and another member who scouted for the Jets. Both worked decades ago though. I know the process some. Unfortunately no ins considering Ralph Wilson is dead and other different ownership in NY Can't give names though as it would out me online. Edited April 26 by ProcessImproverMan Quote

If he simply brings that element to the team on a consistent basis, I think his floor is what we hoped/expected Gabe to provide without the disappearing acts. We literally had Gabe go games without as much of a target and get participation awards in conjunction with our #1 getting 10+ targets to the tune of >50yds and coming off the field every other play. I'm excited and I look forward to the next complimentary piece! 1 Quote
McMuffin Posted April 26 Posted April 26 They were saying the same things about Mike Evans as they are about Keon Colman so hopefully he can be that type of guy for us. 2 1 1 Quote
JMM Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Guys please go read scouting reports. Please go to YouTube and look up his gauntlet drill. His short speed, his hands and tracking skills are ELITE. He's a beast. This is a GOOD pick. 4 2 2 1 Quote
Aurelius Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Another guy who did “OK” as a big wr that was clocked even slower than Coleman was Larry Fitzgerald. It seems Keon has exceptional hands and play-on-ball skills which are what the Bills covet. Let’s give him a shot before we write him off. Could end up being a real stud for us. 5 Quote

No one knows who translates into a productive player. I do know Keon is a physically tough receiver that will dominate on 50/50 balls and reminds me of Keenan Allen. What’s the percentage in round 2?😉 Quote
