Apologies in advance to Frankish as I am only relating what I heard on the CBS  Radio News at 6pm tonight. He didn’t like it the last time I did this.

Newscaster describes USAID as a humanitarian aid agency and then goes to a sound bite from a Georgetown prof who says with drama in his voice, “USAID buys commodities to distribute around the world. Things like AIDS medicines for Africa and like buying food from American farmers and sending it around the world”.

That was the entire “news” bit.

How to guarantee that the reliable media remains reliable:

Make certain that it's beyond just ideology and that they're in on the grift too.

This women truly thinks that the Washington elite are not just more important than all of us outside DC, but if they are not happy then all of the US is unhappy. Truly delusional stuff

Nah, they'll let Finding handle this one. He's much better at wordsmithing BS.

I'll bite.

Could it possibly mean defending against large scale deception? It's not exactly a stretch.

And it's not the news agency, it is the data analyst side of their company, recruited by the DoD.  Probably a Hilldawg nothingburger.
