Dallas- Edmonton 5pm Pacific today Sunday 6-2

I don't really root for any team besides Buffalo . I guess I would choose Edmonton to watch Connor McDavid play. But either way if the next round finals is as good as the preceding rounds Buckle Up. It's going to be fun either way

WTF... I just saw the finals start next Saturday, thats ridiculous.

Well, if the Stars win tonight then there will be a Tuesday game to decide the series... If that happens, 3 days till the Cup finals start isn't "that" out there. As of who's left now I hope the Oilers win the cup.

Having Southern US teams in the NHL just seems wrong. Guess it’s good that there are hockey fans in those markets, but c’mon…really? Is there even ever any ice in Dallas outside of the stadium?

And don’t even get me started on a Miami-based team in the finals. Ugh.

2-1 Edmonton wins at home

so Panthers- Oilers in the Final

I will be watching ILH

Go Oilers! Canada needs a cup!

We all have reasons for disliking other teams but, in general, I've never disliked the Rangers.  They are New York and so am I. They've never been a threat to the Sabres unlike the Jets in football . I don't really like the Giants in football but I don't hate them either. I'm from New York but I grew up in Virginia so I'd rather root for other New York teams than anybody else.

I did a playoff bracket on NHL.com and was really happy with how I've done so far.  I had Florida and Edmonton as the two teams in the finals and according to NHL.com I got 71% of my picks correct.   My ranking in this thing?  28,690 🤣🤣🤣

I think it would be nice to see a Canadian team win the Cup for the first time in 3 decades, so I will be rooting for the Oilers.

Every time their Goalie makes a save, this is what always comes to my mind:

That’s second for me.  First, i think…..wait……what is Skinner even doing in the defensive zone….he’s never there…..oh wait this isn’t the Sabres.

I have to believe that the Sabres players are watching these games.  What’s going through their minds?  Do they think they could play at this level?  Individually?  As a team?  The entire organization is out of excuses.

This isn't the NHL, but I have never seen this done before.

You have not seen it because its illegal in North American hockey.  Goalie cannot participate in a play beyond the red line.  But that didn't stop Roy.

Even if it was legal I don't think it could be done successfully at the NHL level. It was weird watching the goalie come in on a 2 on 1 like that and score.

There is some young talent on the team. A couple of weeks ago they finished the Hockey World Championship (of course without players still running in the playoffs), and several young Sabres did very well. Dylan Cozens was on the all-star team (as the only North American), JJ Peterka was the best German player, and Rasmus Dahlin played a large role in Sweden getting the bronze medal.
