The Ravens reverted back to that same team that has a QB run around in circles and hurls the ball downfield to no one. It just happened a little sooner this season.

So you are just making up stuff. Gotcha.

I can see multiple ways we beat KC and Baltimore. Lions have 2 good wins all year. They are not even my favorites to win NFC. I too think Philadelphia or Green Bay in a rematch beats them

See I'm just making up stuff too

Do you not understand projections?

The Ravens defense is not nearly as good as it was last year.  They lost some key defenders in FA as well as their DC, Mike Macdonald.  Their pass defense is abysmal which is why they have 5 losses and are chasing the Steelers in the AFCN.

No doubt, but they still have elite players back there that have been opportunistic. In the playoffs, I'll take that over a more overall defensively sound team, because once you get to the playoffs, you're playing the best teams every week. They had enough talent to completely shut down Allen - both through the air and on the ground.

True, haha. The Dolphins and Jets really crashed and burned this year. They should be embarrassed.

It shows the difference between accumulating talent and building a team.

The Jets.  Definitely.  I think Miami is a WC team right now though if Tua doesn't get injured.  We'll see what they're made of down the stretch.

Settle is actually having a career year with Houston—5 sacks to date. Too bad we didn’t get this version of him.

Yeah I saw .  I loved the acquisition when we signed him.  I thought he was a great get and value.    I was wrong— and I’m man enough to admit it.  I was wrong, I was wrong, I was wrong!!!!!

Doubling down on a horrible take, while simultaneously moving the goal posts…well done!

Moving the goalposts? I've had them in the same sport for 4 seasons now. I've been extremely consistent in my critique of this team, and nothing has improved since we peaked in 2020.

You seem to have such positive things to say about so many of your favorite teams, other than the Bills. Compared to these powerhouse teams that you heap praise on so generously, the Bills seem soo inferior, so lacking to you.

My team, the Bills, will soon have at least 11 wins five years in a row, one of the few teams in the history of the league to do so.  You should consider making the Bills a team of choice now.

You may, if you open your perspective, enjoy the ride that is coming in the next few months...

The ravens simply do not have the QB who can pass the ball consistently at an extremely high level in high volume, 3x to even get to the super bowl.  He's literally never demonstrated it in the playoffs entering year 7.

I have Baltimore losing in the wildcard or boat raced in the div rd by a team with a better qb

Your initial (very bad) take was that the Bills would be “fortunate to be in playoff contention” this year because of the loss of ….(checks notes) Tim Settle, Gabe Davis, Dane Jackson, and Latavius Murray, and perhaps one or two other JAGs.  Now that the Bills have clinched the AFCE with five games left in the regular season, and are the betting favorite to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl, your argument is “they probably won’t win the Super Bowl this year, so I was right after all!”  That, my friend, is called “moving the goal posts.”

There’s been this new thing over the last couple weeks where people dump their dogsh*t secondary pessimistic forecast after their initial pessimistic forecast failed miserably, but then buffer it by saying “I wish I was wrong guys. Omg I wish I was wrong, gosh darn these clairvoyant talents of mine.”

Bald Bull and double Mikey are goal post moving masters at this. It’s like a free pass to get unlimited digs in on the team, as long as you stamp it with some ambivalent “boy I wish I was wrong”.

You don’t wish you were wrong, your entire online persona is a hail mary hope that you’re right.

Excellent point, analysis.  Very true.

Had more time to be on here the last few months. When I have encountered one of the haters I have sometimes looked at their past activity.  Shocking, at first, that they literally hate on almost 100% of these threads, often moving into the most positive of threads to spread their crap.  That in itself, the big picture, the unrelenting consistency, undermines almost any individual hate point they now make. It is all the same, just different facades .

So your analysis fits in very well with the consistency of their hate--no matter what, even if there is clear evidence to refute their previous ultra negative comments, they will just change the facts, move the goalposts, and start a new line of hate.

And, just like now, they get most aggressive when the Bills are most successful: 10-2, have won SEVEN games in a row, scoring 30 points in the last 6,  and are clearly one of the top 2-3 teams in the entire league.  (But if you read the haters' takes, you would think they are 2-10, have lost 7 in a row, and are one of the worst 2-3 teams in the league.)

Can you imagine being like them, and not enjoying this great season?

I think that Miami's real problem is philosophical: they've put all their eggs in the single basket of a high powered, precision timing passing offense.

The Fins' aim is to get a big lead and never look back.  That works pretty well against poor teams.  It works decently with some middling teams, but it falls apart when they face talented, well coached teams.  The Fins' inability to beat good teams is a fact.  Miami didn't lose to GB on Thanksgiving because Tua didn't like the cold; they lost because the Packers derailed their passing game.  The result would have been pretty much the same if the game had been played in Miami.

Incorrect. I've said for the last 4 seasons that they aren't built to be a Super Bowl winner.

I ALSO said, they'd be fortunate to be in playoff contention. They have indeed become FORTUNATE. I never once said they wouldn't make the playoffs. In fact, if you look at my posts from the spring and summer, I said I wouldn't be surprised to see them win 10 or 11 games. My notes about thier offseason losses were due to a significant decrease in depth, not the impact of any one player. The addressed those depth concerns since that origin post and I updated my position following those acquisitions.

If you're going to try to come at me, the least you could do is be prepared, because you just look ignorant.

How many games have you watched him this year? He's having the best season of any QB in the league.

Lazy bait. Do better. I praise the Bills as much as they deserve. When they start winning championships, they'll get the praise that other teams who have won championships do. Hell, if they make it out of the divisional round of the playoffs, they'll get a lot more praise.

Yes, definitely different standards.  No offensive players beyond Allen?

Shoot, averaging almost 30 points a game, and scoring at least 30 in the last 6 games,  makes me wonder what they could do with actual top tier O lineman, running backs, tight ends, and receivers!? Hopefully they could still muddle through the rest of the season, and get some top end talent in the off season..

Stats don’t tell the whole story, especially points scored.  The OL is a solid unit, but there is not one of those guys that anybody outside of Buffalo is calling a top of the line player.  They are all good, there’s no glaring weakness, it’s a good balance.

If Allen is top end talent, then nobody else is close.  To be that, you have to be in the “elite” tier of talent at your position.  The only guy who’s even in the discussion for top 5 at their position on O is Cook.  Shakir could be debated at Slot WR, but not at WR in general.

So yes, my definition of top tier is that, TOP TIER, not lower.

no offense but not sure you understand how offensive lines work.
