also can pay in 4 payments

I got the same offer.  $289  because I subscribe to youtube tv and I paid in full all at once last year.  However, I am not being offered the 4 payment option.  It says pay in full before May 16th only option.

I read that it's not offered everywhere. Not sure why

We switched to YTTV last year from DirectTV. No complaints for the most part. However, I think it’s ridiculous to pay for the Sunday Ticket but not really able to watch all the games as now I need to pay for Prime for TNF and even Peakon. If I’m paying full price for the Ticket I shouldn’t have to pay additional to watch it on other streaming platforms.

Just received my renewal offer of $289 with red zone and $249 without.

I've received a couple of emails from YTTV for $249 renewal but there is no mention of an additional $40 for red zone ($289 total). When checking my offers at the YTTV dollar sign on my TV, it offers a sports bundle that includes red zone for an additional $11.99 a month.  I don't watch any of the other channels in the package and was hoping for a bundle with red zone similar to last year and the offer you received.

I am a YTTV customer, I can do the 4 pay but It says the 289 offer is for new customers only? My price shows as 349$

Is anyone considering not early renewing? I am wondering if I hold out, will I get a better deal closer to the start of the season?

I have yet to get any renewal offer. Still waiting for the email!

Try the app on your phone, maybe

Waiting to see what the Bills early season schedule looks like when it comes out Wednesday night.  If there's several national games slated early on, I may hold out.

great idea. Timing is pretty interesting. Schedule release Wednesday and the Sunday ticket discount ends Thursday, I believe.

I totally took advantage of the $100 off early renewal. $289 for ST and RZ for the season is a bargain.

It is called Sunday Ticket, not Thursday Night or Saturday Night Ticket.  These other networks paid a lot more money for those packages.  I'm sure YTTV could have also bid and got those games too if they really wanted, but instead of paying $289 to renew, it may have been $389!

I did renew yesterday. With DTV could always expect a better deal by waiting, not sure that is as likely to happen with YTTV, don't believe that happened last year either.  Maybe they realize, once they do that everyone will wait and many never sign up. By sticking with one price, it shows people there's no reason to wait. Will see??

Agree.
Originally the Sunday ticket was a paid service that gave us access to all games that were NOT being broadcast nationally on Thursday, Sunday night, Monday Night, Thanksgiving, playoffs, or any other that wasn’t being shown locally.  Other than the NFL Network and ESPN games, all could be watched with an over the air antenna in concert with the ticket.
So now if we want 100% access to all our favorite teams’ games we need cable/satellite/streaming with subscriptions that provide the NFL Sunday Ticket, ESPN, NFL Network, local, and a la cart subscriptions to Peacock and Amazon.
That’s a minimum of 4 separate services to guarantee home viewing for all Bills’ games!
Oh well.
On the plus side, it’s still worthwhile and a good value for the luxury of being able to enjoy the comforts of home while watching the game in real time.

I can drink beer without worry, sit in a comfortable recliner, fireplace blazing, pets on my lap, smell of roast in the oven, and clean bathroom without urine covering the floor.
There was a period where the only choices were sports bars and waiting for highlights on ESPN.

Compared to vacation rentals, theater shows, game tickets,  and other leave-the-house events, a few hundred bucks for the entire season is still a good deal.
(don’t tell YouTube I said that!) 😜

It's gonna keep getting worse Imo. I heard something the other day about Netflix getting in on nfl streaming. If the nfl had it's way, we'd probably have to pay every week to watch games 🙄

I got the student rate this year, using my son's college status. lol. Still expensive, but the best price available at $199. I got it as a YouTube Prime channel so I won't be required for YouTube TV.

Me too.  I paid the extra $10 for the Red Zone.
