Running back is a real need for the Bills IMO

It absolutely is. But if the bills trade back and select a RUNNING BACK in the 2nd round after just spending one on cook, and two 3rds on Singletary and Moss…ppl will revolt (rightfully so IMO)

Our RB range should firmly be in the 5th round and on

There are more 2nd round wr's that could be in play here. Ja'Lynn Polk for one.

Agreed, I'd prefer Polk over Frankin as Polk profiles more as a WR1.  Of the options presented, I'd go Franklin though.  I'd also consider Burton.

As was noted - dropping back to 40 is risky but adding a 3rd rounder should be the reward.

Legette and Sweat would probably both be there at 40 and I would pick one and then trade up using next years extra second to try to get the other too!

But this is the worst year to draft one for two reasons.

1. It’s a horrible RB draft class of epic proportions. It’s a huge bunch of JAG types. Next years class is LOADED with talent.

2. We don’t quite know what we have with Cook yet. If he establishes himself then maybe a mid round guy next year, but if he shows he can’t carry the load or isn’t up to par we need to invest in one high next year.

Those are my reasons to wait on RB until

next year.
