Sorry, had issues posting this.  All 10 options are up.

This might be the first poll where I'll be angry if my guy doesn't win the vote.  Big thanks to @H2ofor making this poll easier 😜

Trade down again!

We implemented a rule of only one trade down per pick.  Also, we just don't really have the time.

There's also definitely some great options at 41.

Franklin and Coleman are so different to me. I picked Franklin because I can visualize him making a lot of plays in our offense. With Coleman I visualize like a better Gabe Davis, which to me is probably not enough. But I like them both.

Franklin will likely win the popular vote here, and perhaps that's the right move. He's a solid player IMO. It's a pick that makes the most sense based on our needs and is a good fit.

My vote however went to T'Vondre Sweat. I can't fight my built in desire to build in the trenches at all times, and this is one big meaty man to put in the middle.

If we could somehow come out of this round with both Franklin and Sweat I'd be really happy about that

I suppose we could try to trade up from 58 into the 45 range. There is a cluster of defensive linemen still available at the moment.

Could also make a smaller less costly jump in the real draft. Swipe Sweat or one of the other DL) here. See how the board falls and jump from 58 to the low  to mid 50s unless a WR run starts.

Would be interesting to see what Beane would do in the real draft if this scenario played out

I vote Coleman even though I know he has no chance of winning. I really like Franklin but I can't help but think about all our recent playoff losses where our small-ish WRs have gotten pushed around by physical DBs. I want to make that a point of emphasis in this draft.

If this scenario played out in the real draft I would love to take Coleman here then trade up for Franklin. Entirely avoid having to make the difficult choice.

And worst yet Coleman is likely best suited for the slot position at the next level

@Virgil I believe DT Darius Robinson was selected??

You are correct.  I removed him, thank you.

It’s funny, because I thought that as I put him in the poll and checked the draft twice.  I missed it both times apparently

Franklin is 6’2 but he has the frame to add some size and muscle. My guess is that he would top out close to 190 which is totally fine
