Bruffalo Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Mitchell is likely the best long term answer on that list. I'd prefer double dipping though, because I feel like hitting on WR this draft is absolutely critical to the long term success of the Bills. 3 4 Quote

Allen often talks about how so much of his game is based on being on the same page with his receiver, almost by feel as opposed to rigid timing and routes. Of all the prospects, I can picture Allen maximizing that with McConkey compared to the others. I just can't get excited about a route running specialist in the 1st round. Diggs was the best route runner in the NFL for three seasons. It was great in the regular season, but as we saw in the playoffs that skill set can be erased by physical DBs. The 1st round should be about physical traits. 1 3 Quote
Logic Posted April 12 Posted April 12 If the Visits list and the recent Tweets by ECB are to be believed... The Bills have done the most work (wide receiver wise) on McConkey, Worthy, Franklin, and Pearsall. I notice a common them there: lighter, faster guys and route technician types. Following in the footsteps of John Brown, Emmanuel Sanders, and Stefon Diggs. Just thought it was interesting, and y'all can take it with as big a grain of salt as you like. 1 1 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted April 12 Posted April 12 I don’t think Mitchell will be there at 28 in the real thing just my opinion 1 2 Quote

I will be surprised in the real draft if one of those guys isn't still sitting there however I didn't really hate any of the logic/fits for people and where they went so perhaps I will be wrong. I think the best chance the Bills have of a trade back is someone coveting a qb. Without that bait I don't see it. Also as I mentioned, I really don't see how the value lines up to get a 3rd back. If they do trade back, it will be for an additional 4th which maybe gets paired with 60 to trade back up but I'm not sure I just don't see a good trade back partner/scenario. Someone is going to jump for JJ McCarthy. It's going to be hilarious. That noodle arm dweeb isn't the next bom trady 1 Quote

That 5th year option for Carolina is important, especially if you want a QB this year. The problem is there isn't a good QB for you... so... hmm. @Alphadawg7 the 1st for our first does not get us in the second. we need youth now. Wait, do the Bills have a 3rd this year? I thought we traded our 3rd for Rasul Douglas mid-season, and only got a 4th in comp for Edmunds. 1 Quote

ddaryl Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Legette if we stay put. I base that off whom I feel may be available at #28 and there strength and weakness profile. Sounds like Legette is a hand catcher and can climb the ladder to snag the catch which I think compliments Allen well. I though about Mitchell but his weaknesses seem like something I want to avoid. 1 Quote
DrDawkinstein Posted April 12 Posted April 12 From the short list, I think my order of preference would be: 1. Mitchell 2. Legette 3. Worthy 4. McConky But I could probably swap 3 & 4 depending on how the wind is blowing. I dont think Mitchell is available at 28 irl. Guess I'd be happy with any of the remaining 3, and even Franklin. Maybe not overly excited, but happy they at least addressed the WR position. 2 Quote

MrEpsYtown Posted April 12 Posted April 12 I like AD Mitchell, but since he won last time I voted Leggette. Quote

I would love a chance to trade down and still get Mitchell and then double dip with McConky. I think Mitchell is gone by 28 though. 2 Quote

Would love a trade back a few spots take Legette with the first pick and then McConkey, Worthy or Tez Walker, whoever is available at #60 in that order. 1 Quote

I’ve said it before but he gives me George Pickens vibes in terms of effort. If I could get McConkey and Mitchell, sure. If the Bills go Mitchell they are going to HAVE to have someone that can handle a lot of targets immediately. You can’t have 2 low floor guys when you have 200ish targets available. 1 1 Quote
MikeSpeed Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Mitchell says he takes plays off. That was enough for me to select Legette 1 Quote
NeverOutNick Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Surprised so many like Legette. He’s not a #1 WR imo. He’s solid but more of a day 2 WR. AD Mitchell fits what we need or Franklin would be a Diggs type with more explosiveness 2 Quote
Big Blitz Posted April 12 Posted April 12 If they’re going to turn 23 before January that’s not a round 1 guy for me. Mitchell. I’d take Legette or Ladd in RD 2. Quote

He’s gonna be a good pro - right away! the consolation prizes aren’t far behind, if at all. Which flavor I suppose. Quote
K D Posted April 12 Posted April 12 Trade back 5 picks and get a 3rd and then use the 3rd to trade up from 60 to around 35 and get 2 of those guys 3 1 Quote
