H2o Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/trent-baalke-josh-allen-is-a-cornerstone-of-our-defense Quote Allen’s deal has a base value of $141.25 million and has $76.5 million fully guaranteed at signing, which is a big uptick on the $24.07 million he would have made under the terms of the franchise tag. General Manager Trent Baalke’s statement about the signing focused on Allen’s value to the team rather that the value of the pact. This is the 2nd DE to get PAID in the last couple of weeks. Brian Burns also got $141M, but $87.5M GTD. We'll have Rousseau for two more years on his current contract. But if he continues to improve, then that price tag is going to be hefty. Quote

Donuts and Doritos Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Does he need a new best friend? 😁 Quote
DCofNC Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Absolutely not worth it, he hasn’t been consistent in the least bit. I really like him, but that’s a steep over pay. 1 1 Quote
Aussie Joe Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 (edited) Not really too worried what this means for Rousseau at this stage … different levels compared to this guy and Burns Edited April 10, 2024 by Aussie Joe 2 Quote

Utah John Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 None of us who realize there are two Josh Allens playing would be worried about it. It's interesting that LB Josh Allen isn't very far behind QB Josh Allen in annual salary. But QB Josh Allen will likely have a much longer career. LB s wear out quicker. Quote
Gobills14094 Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Groot can ask for that money, sure. But he is not worth it until he is getting 10+ sacks a year. 1 Quote
SoonerBillsFan Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 I have to lol that they were dumb enough to use that picture. Quote
SoonerBillsFan Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 He is not worth that amount, period. But hey, kill your cap Jags. Quote
Poleshifter Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Some “fans” don’t even watch the rest of the league play their games. 1 Quote
K D Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Yea and how many sacks does our Josh have? Exactly. He's too busy playing golf 2 Quote

Freddie's Dead Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 (edited) I saw this, and it just verified that there are absolutely no editorial standards left anywhere. The worst part? There were TWO pictures of Josh Allen QB, in a Bills uniform. Embarrassing AF for MSN. OOPS!! Looks like the page got taken down. Edited April 10, 2024 by Freddie's Dead Quote
stuvian Posted April 10, 2024 Posted April 10, 2024 Jags are stupid but not Raiders - Dolphins - Bears level stupid. Quote
