OldTimer1960 Posted April 3 Posted April 3 I still don’t like the idea of giving up next year’s 1st in a trade up this year, but it is a little more possible with them now having 2 2nds next year. 1 Quote
Process Posted April 3 Posted April 3 Where there is smoke there is fire. People have been dismissing Diggs comments but it's clear he wanted out. The guy is a diva, and a clown. Him and his brother publicly going after Allen. Loser. See ya. 1 Quote
ndirish1978 Posted April 3 Posted April 3 (edited) Terrible return on this trade. How much of a cancer does a guy have to be behind the scenes for you to eat 31M cap hit and get rid of WR1. Edited April 3 by ndirish1978 1 Quote

ShakAttack Posted April 3 Posted April 3 The elephant in the room for me….. how the hell did this happen in the first place? What is a no trade clause if you can be traded? 1 Quote
The Firebaugh Kid Posted April 3 Posted April 3 EVERY douchebag on the other Diggs thread saying he wasn't posturing to be moved can kiss my ass. Anyone with half a brain knew there was tension here. 1 1 1 1 Quote

SmokinES3 Posted April 3 Posted April 3 (edited) 31 million in dead cap. It would have cost just over 3 million to keep him???? Wow, talk about lies with everything being "fine" Edited April 3 by SmokinES3 2 Quote

We can’t make it on what we have, but I know he’s on the wrong side of 30. I think with 2 1sts and 3 2nds in the next 2 drafts - you have ammunition to move into the top 10 of the draft without giving up too many of your 2024 picks. 1 Quote

TheBeaneBandit Posted April 3 Posted April 3 I would keep pick 44 from the Texans and then trade pic 28 60 and then whatever pics needed next year to get a top receiver this year and still get a sweet prospect at 44 as well. Quote
Buffalo_Stampede Posted April 3 Posted April 3 I’m happy the Bills had the guts to do it. Perfect year to rebuild the WR room. 4 Quote

Goin Breakdown Posted April 3 Posted April 3 So a second round pick next year to Huston will be a LATE second round pick. 1 Quote

ProcessImproverMan Posted April 3 Posted April 3 I attended many games last year and it was clear watching Diggs that he really had lost it the second half of the season. He is also known for disappearing during key playoff games and choking (see drop last year against KC, some other boneheaded plays (fumble) and lack of separation). This move should free up a lot of cap space for us next year to reload. This draft is also receiver heavy so we will get someone. We may have a bit of a drop off this year but we will be much better off in the future. Quote

dgrochester55 Posted April 3 Posted April 3 I want to reserve judgement until I see what the cap looks like and what Buffalo adds at WR before the season. Buffalo was not getting past the divisional round with last years set up. If Allen has five to ten good years left, I would be willing to take a step back for one year if it meant true Super Bowl contention after. Quote
