The CFL is viable too but I think for whatever reason it is a lot harder to go from the CFL to the NFL. Maybe because the CFL rules are so vastly different? Anyway I am glad to have a spring football league where guys can find ways to get into the NFL that weren't there in the past. The difference between the CFL and UFL is players can't get out of CFL contracts to go to the NFL, while all UFL contracts are just one season long. 1 Quote

I didn't know that about the CFL, very interesting how restrictive they are. I believe the XFL 2.0 had a deal in place where any player could leave their XFL contract for the NFL they just couldn't join the USFL or CFL. I think the UFL has a chance to be a decent feeder league and a solid "niche" product for hardcore football nerds. Quote
BigDingus Posted April 2 Posted April 2 It must be annoying to the XFL that the second someone looks good, the NFL is going to come take away your player 😆 Quote

BufBills83 Posted April 3 Posted April 3 (edited) I've been wanting the Bills to bring in competition at kicker. Bass had a weird year. He wasn't great and it seemed like a lot of his kicks, even some of the makes, looked awkward. Like the kick at the end of regulation against the Jets week 1. Yes it was a 50ish yarder but it banked off the goalpost and in, so kinda lucky. Some of other ones just didn't look straight or they moved around. And then he gets a short one blocked in the Steelers playoff game and missed the one against KC. I don't want the season to come down to a kick in the playoffs again and we're worried that our kicker makes a 45 yard or less FG....those should be basically automatic. Plenty of kickers in the leagues are making 55+ seem easy. Edited April 3 by BufBills83 Quote

Is his new moniker going to be the Kick God? Wait, how the heck does a dude get into any league not having made a FG since HS? lol. I don't think I have made one since then either. Quote
