Gambit Posted April 2 Posted April 2 He was iced the first time but made the 64yd kick back to back, with room to spare. Impressive that he hasnt kicked since HS apparently. Would love if we were one of the teams interested. Give Bass some competition seeing as he struggled badly last year. Quote
BBFL Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Your first kick to make since High School? 64 yarder for a game winner? That’s impressive alone. Is his new moniker going to be the Kick God? 1 2 Quote

Nephilim17 Posted April 2 Posted April 2 (edited) That's pretty damn impressive. It's like a WR who hasn't thrown a pass since high school throwing a ball 65 yards in the air for a TD. Twice in a row (says there was a false start or something on the first play). Edited April 2 by Nephilim17 Quote
boyst Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Sirius NFL was saying that with the new kickoff rules they think a few teams may consider having two kickers for a while. I really cannot fathom it or how it is going to be that beneficial. Quote
Gregg Posted April 2 Posted April 2 He won't be in the UFL for long. Welcome to the NFL pretty soon. Quote
ddaryl Posted April 2 Posted April 2 (edited) if he eligible for the draft???? Bates for Bass trade???? 🤣 the man makes 2xs 64 yd FG. Everyone rushes to sign him and his price goes up... Only to find out he can't hit the 25 yarder to save his own life. the kid has to be pysched. Going from UFL to NFL, which would of been his dream I assume. He will get a tryout as long as the rest of his season doesn't turn ugly Edited April 2 by ddaryl Quote
hondo in seattle Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Weird career trajectory. Played mostly soccer in college. Scored 4 goals in his career. Played some football too but as a kickoff specialist. Obviously has a strong leg. Tried out for the Texans last year but didn't make the cut. 1 Quote

To comeback to the skill and be a Master at it is something. You can honestly refer to him as, oh I don’t know. Master Jake* (* get lost pervs 😁) Quote
billsfan89 Posted April 2 Posted April 2 I am very happy the UFL exists (and that it is a combination of the XFL and USFL as there isn't room in the market for two spring football leagues) because it does give guys a chance to make the NFL in unorthodox ways. The CFL is viable too but I think for whatever reason it is a lot harder to go from the CFL to the NFL. Maybe because the CFL rules are so vastly different? Anyway I am glad to have a spring football league where guys can find ways to get into the NFL that weren't there in the past. 1 Quote

GETTOTHE50 Posted April 2 Posted April 2 Maybe the jets will sign him so they can finally score Quote

Wait until he shanks a couple of 30 yard kicks next game. 1 Quote
