Charles Romes
Winner plays for the world chess championship. Wondering if anyone is going and if it’s even possible to go. No tix available on stunhub.
qwksilver
There is quite of bit of chess content creators on Youtube. I believe Chess dotcom has a stream where you can watch it live. I'm routing for Hikaru but he did not get off to a good start. Hope that helps.

Neo
For those interested, I watched “recaps” on Agadamator’s Chess Channel, YouTube. He’s very good and he gives some current event or historical context.
DrW
It is sad that Magnus Carlsen (the chess player with the highest Elo rating ever; world champion 2013-2023) decided that he is not motivated anymore to participate. I just hope that he does not follow in Bobby Fisher's footsteps who became world champion and developed later in life increasingly bizarre behavior (although he was never diagnosed officially with a mental illness). qwksilver
I agree. It would not be the same tournament if Magnus was waiting on the winner of the candidates. However, FIDE does a decent job of getting the world champ vs the winner of the candidates. I just wish it was Hikaru vs Ding. I feel like Gotham Chess did a great job covering this tournament. Does anyone play on Chess dot com? I would love to play against Bills fans......
