That is what the crowd represents. Loving people in the abstract is easy. It is easy to love those with whom you have sympathy. It is hard to love those who are not aligned with you. Rarely can anyone di that well, The conservative Christians don't and the liberal doo-gooders don't. Each hate those who oppose their world view. The message was radical 4000 years ago. It was radical 2000 years ago, it is radical now. In the spirit of Easter, the Gospel message is that God loved those who opposed Him. All of them. Even the ones who hung His son on a cross. Good thing for us. He tell us to do have the same kind of love for those whom we hate. But we fail. Good thing for us that this does not disqualify us for heaven. Otherwise Jesus dying on the cross would have been meaningless. So, next time you jump on a Christian for being a hypocrite, just remember, that God accepts them despite that failing. https://www.blogger.com/comment.g?blogID=6329595&postID=3123278496564338654 3 1

This is a distasteful sacrilege. Funny how the cult is whining about Biden signing a proclamation about respecting others and not a word about Trump making this “holy” day about himself. Blasphemy So please put the quote of him saying that this day is like his crucifixion your opinions are so biased i'd rather see the actual quote because we all know exactly where you are coming from . You really got it bad and don't even know it . The closer to the election do you get paid more for posting more BS about the orange man Inquiring minds want to know . 1 1

That being said.. stop asking Christians why they will vote for him over a man who makes a mockery of his faith by incessantly referencing said faith to absolve him of his progressive led assault on Christian values and what evangelicals hold sacred. You think Bidens actions are worse? I can't even fathom that pov here. 1 1

Pokebball Posted June 5 Posted June 5 What I find both funny and disturbing is neither candidate, neither party and not one poster in this thread (including me) own the high ground from a Jesus perspective. And yet we are all posting from a position of judgement, one way or the other. A friend shared this article with me, just this morning. I think it's a good read. https://townhall.com/tipsheet/guybenson/2024/05/31/how-might-voters-react-to-a-trump-conviction-n2639727 1
