Nebillzfan Posted May 13 Posted May 13 Sad part is that if this happened he would get away with all of it. Andy Reid's kid got off for hitting someone while drunk and Mahome's stupid brother sexual assault case went away. Quote

Put him on that indefinitely and let the Chiefs pay him to not play while his legal situations play out and then worry about a suspension. These situations aren't likely to be resolved by September/October so not sure why the league would want him back on the field at that point. 3 Quote
wppete Posted May 16 Posted May 16 Rice will be out of the NFL within 2 years and be suspended for half of that time. This guy has a disastrous history. Cant clean up now. Quote
Billl Posted May 21 Posted May 21 Multiple witnesses including the club owner said Rice never hit the guy, and now the photographer is no longer pursuing charges. Rashee has been a full participant in OTAs. 3 Quote

While a bunch of people around MO are pissed that the Governor commuted Britt Reid's already light sentence (resulting from the favorable plea bargain the DA accepted), the fact is - he pled guilty, he was sentenced, he didn't "get off" Yeah, funny how people assaulted by wealthy football players tend to decide it was all a mistake (on their way to the bank).
