Rice is the early favorite for the Walter Payton MOTY Award.

An uplifting story of a good citizen and the professional cameraman that happens to be following him around. The whole experience probably cost Rashee Rice a good $300, not to mention the cost of the three large pizzas!

Rash was doling out personal pans.  Larges are for when you beat up your pregnant baby mama.  Only guys like Von and Tyreek have to stoop to that level.

Whatever happened to the good ol' "commissioner's exempt list"?    Put him on that indefinitely and let the Chiefs pay him to not play while his legal situations play out and then worry about a suspension.    These situations aren't likely to be resolved by September/October so not sure why the league would want him back on the field at that point.

He will be fine as long as he stays away from Catholic School graduations.

He is from the area, but hard not to think this isn't just a play to try and get the DA to take it easy on him.

Here’s the league’s statement on the matter, via email from earlier in the hour to PFT: “We have been monitoring developments in the matter. Following the conclusion of the legal process, the NFL will review the matter under the Personal Conduct Policy.”

This confirms that an unpaid suspension isn’t happening any time soon. While paid leave remains possible, common sense suggests it would have happened by now.

With eight felony charges pending against Chiefs receiver Rashee Rice in the aftermath of a March 2024 street-racing incident that left multiple people injured, it initially seemed unlikely that he’d be playing when Week 1 rolls around. As Week 1 rolls closer, it’s beginning to look like he’ll actually be available to play.

Per a source with knowledge of the situation, the NFL has not yet met with or interviewed Rice.

We Need hbo to do a hard knocks “Chiefs family members” edition.

just think of the fun, mahomes dad and Reid’s kid could get wasted at a bar or at the team facility and then get picked up by rice who then crashes into an innocent family and paralyzes them…or if rice isn’t available Reid’s kid could just drive them home.

then they could cut to rice’s mom stealing stuff from Taylor swift in a suite and then swift writes a song about it which goes to number 1.

who knows where the fam’s adventures could lead.

Whoa - that’s a morbid imagination- crashing into & paralyzing a family.

You admit it now that the statue of limitations has expired.  Some used this as rehearsal for stealing media as an adult and fortunately some got caught and had to pay for others crimes.
