billsbackto81 Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Hey man! I'm just here for the tax breaks and what used to be, a lower cost of living. Another year until my son graduates and then we're most likely out of here.

Guy down the road from our home was in the same thing; sting operation @ 4am when I was loading my truck up for work. Saw the blues and thought wtf, when I drove past there was 2 police trucks and 4 undercover cars. Fast forward once the gossip got out he was in a sting for CP… His bail was only $10k. Meaning that if he or someone posts $1k he’s out on the street. Which he was. Fast forward 2 years later after checking the PA Docket he’s still awaiting trial… How do you allow someone like that to still be out on the street. That bust isn’t a random thing and if indeed it was a mistake of IP identity then it still wouldn’t be a pending case. Absolutely disgusting. Hence the old expression: "Justice delayed is justice denied". At the end of the day, if it has dragged on this long, the dude probably has enough money to file motions and extend the process.
TheCockSportif Posted March 27 Posted March 27 When I first heard this -- it was midday yesterday and I was eating a sandwich -- I laughed because all I read was that a former Jaguars' employee was sentenced to prison for hacking servers and creating disturbances on the scoreboard during games or somesuch. Was this a Turk 182 thing? By checking news at the end of my day, it became apparent that this was worse, like much, much worse. It's incredible to me that people like these are able to walk freely in our society, and for lengthy of a period of time.
Don Otreply Posted March 27 Posted March 27 The phrase, “ Florida Man” exists for a reason…, it covers the entire range of social and economic life down there, 1

Wife and I went to Bills/Jags game in 2021 there. Virtually no tailgating or place to buy souvenirs. We walked around the stadium twice and were completely underwhelmed. Most impressive thing was their mascot basically ziplining onto the field from one of the light poles. Pretty impressive, at least for me since I hate heights.

The whole place was just gross. To this day, i still can't believe they would ever put a stadium and a football franchise anywhere near that **** hole. I agree with you, BUT you also just described about 100 towns across America right now.....sadly.

If not, allowing this guy to have unmonitored until his trial date is unacceptable. These guys who have this child predator/sex mindset do not have the ability to control their urges. gen if out on bail can’t access the internet and likely (hopefully) on a monitor.
corta765 Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Tom C was the one time they had a guiding force and vision which the results justified. Doug is a good coach but Baalke is a joke of a GM and until he is out I think they will just keep treading water.

A guy that lived a building down was arrested on a sting operation for child pornography. He was released on bail and the HOA couldn't do anything about it. Because he wasn't on the lease, his sister who he lived with was and he hadn't been convicted yet. Courts were delayed because of Covid and they couldn't legally have him removed until he was officially sentenced in court. Insane in the membrane. I disagreed with you because it's not "insane" to wait until somebody is actually convicted before penalizing him/her. Even perverts have rights. 1

He was caught red handed with a lot of material. There needs to be a process in which someone at this level shouldn't be allowed around children. 1
JerseyBills Posted March 27 Posted March 27 Not related to the op but I really thought they'd be a problem last year. Especially with adding Ridley on O and a stout defense , I watched alot of them, when Bills weren't playing obviously, mainly because I had Ridley and Etienne in fantasy but long story short, Lawrence was really bad. I don't see him getting better honestly
EasternOHBillsFan Posted March 27 Posted March 27 It's Florida. It used to be people from my family went down there to live to escape the winter in the 1960s on, but now they are all leaving Florida... just too insane

It’s literally the most grotesque place I’ve ever been. (Went to the 9-6 game). The entire city has a stench to it. And I’m not making that up; it’s a real thing. Walk outside to get some fresh air and your hit with the pungent aroma that can only be described as “Jacksonville.” We thought we were just making it up because the city is just boring (when asked what the best steakhouse was, we were pointed to Ruth’s Chris).
