Always scary seeing Davros or a Dalek. was it Leila (?) and there was an episode with a black bottomless pit, the alien was like clingwrap, scary. If that was 'The Horror of Fang Rock', it was indeed a Louise Jameson (Leila) story. Over the years, there have been both amateur and professional reworks of the special effects. Quote

Ahh that makes much more sense. It looked like Mr. Nanny but I couldn't remember this scene and I've never seen Suburban Commando 😬 Quote

BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Posted April 5 Posted April 5 I mean, good call on starting this with Sagat. I think he's absolute garbage, but I appreciate your fond memories- nobody can take those from you. I'm basically not very good at cheese- I identify cheese, and it's pretty well locked out for good, but there are exceptions, and the Enchanted Water Show at Enchanted Forest (somewhere around Salem, Oregon) is one of them. To place the scene, you walk into the most budget-friendly food option of Oregon's finest amusement park. The park is based on non-copyrighted fairytales- think, Old Mother Hubbard and Humpty Dumpty. Beyond some crazy ish, it's got a very respectable log-ride, tiny but fun coaster and a bad-ass haunted house. Everything about it is terrible... except, it's not- it's kinda fun having to crawl though the various nursery rhymes... Without a doubt, though, the worst attraction in the park has got to be the Enchanted Water Show... except it's my favorite thing there. ) So you walk into the cheapest place to eat in the park and get your mediocre burger, served by very sweet pimply folks, and sit down for the entertainment- with your packets of French's mustard in hand. I've only been here as an adult, but I'm just somewhere between blown-away, and in love Quote
BringMetheHeadofLeonLett Posted April 5 Posted April 5 It's just amazingly better in person. My cousin Noreen is a travel agent. Feel free to get in touch. She's busy for this package, but she'll try to get you in as soon as she can. Quote

Being a fan of subtlety, the dancing sprite at the :58 - 1:04 mark is a huge highlight- I can see how that would excite the bladder. Quote

It seemed real big and exciting when I was little. Then one day working years back an older woman there talked about going there a lot with her kids. She seemed to like it but think it was kind of a cheesy cheap place. Yeah this commercial brings back memories below as does seeing YouTube videos of it not that long ago. It yeah definitely felt a lot bigger as a kid! All in all it can be seen as a cheesy place but I still think fondly of it. 1 Quote

When it’s on I’m obligated to watch, and notify a few friends it’s on too via all those corny lines. 100% Roadhouse (the original) is a cinematic masterpiece. I rank it right up there with Showgirls and a distant third, Gone with the Wind. Edited June 11 by Irv 1 Quote
