I deleted that post because the pic is so grainy (actually they’re all grainy but that pic was deceiving) that it’s hard to actually count the rows. But here is the opposing angle showing the press box above it. Looks to be about 15 or so rows on that entire sideline. Then the corners jut out to 20 rows, before the end zones go back down to 12-15 rows. Edit: Scanning around pics online I think the opposing sideline goes up to 23 rows? Hard to tell because they rarely show that sideline for whatever reason. But yeah, upper deck is definitely smaller than the current stadium. Edited Friday at 03:59 AM by Einstein Quote

The upper deck has more seats than the old stadium - it spans the entire circumference save for 1 endzone where a scoreboard will go. As I said earlier the opposing side (leeward) has ~30 rows. Almost every question and concern that you've brought up could be answered if you simply knew how to search for video. There are 4-5 people that have been flying a drone over the construction site every week for the past year. This isn't some mystery. It's clear the overhang covers the 400 seats. It’s necessary to control the temperature and humidity inside the enclosed spaces so that more climate-sensitive materials can begin installation. 1 Quote

I have repeatedly given you the benefit of the doubt despite numerous rude responses coming from you, but no more. I asked whether the architects released the “60% under cover” figure — not whether they know how many seats are under cover. I asked that question because your previous response — dripping with condescension — was, “Yes, I’m sure the architects are part of some larger marketing conspiracy.” But if the architects didn’t release that figure, then no — they wouldn’t be part of what I was referring to as marketing. So let’s walk this back: 1. I said I was skeptical of the 60% figure and suggested the Bills may have inflated it. 2. You replied sarcastically, implying I was accusing architects of lying — which I never said. 3. I then asked if the architects released that number, and you responded - again condescendingly - questioning whether I thought the architects wouldn’t know it. I honestly can’t tell if you’re being deliberately difficult or just struggling with reading what i’m writing. My hypothesis is that the Bills are inflating numbers for marketing. Newflash: Businesses lie. A LOT. All the time. This has nothing to do with the architects. When Subway sells a “foot long” sub that is actually only 10 inches, we don’t then ask if the bread manufacture knew how long the bread is. Because that makes no sense! The bread manufacturer didnt market it as a foot - Subway did. Edited Friday at 01:03 PM by Einstein 1 Quote

It’s not the Kennedy assassination files. 😉 In the larger scheme of things does it really matter what the exact percentage is? While I’ve not sat through the seat selection presentation I’m pretty sure the Bills office is able to tell you whether the particular seat you’re considering is under the roof. No? And do you really care how many other seats are besides the one you’re sitting in? I apologize if I sound frustrated but I really don’t see how this is so important to anyone. 1 Quote

Sat through it yesterday. My section upper deck should be mostly unaffected by snow/rain. Looked at end zone seats also. Was on the cusp of not getting direct weather, mostly because of the overhang of deck above. What they said was they built the stadium to have weather protection, but can’t guarantee you won’t. It all depends on how the weather hits the stadium. Gonna be interesting how it works when open. Can’t wait until it is! 1 Quote

That’s very cool, and it’s starting to look like a football stadium! I guess it’s because the existing stadium is partially below ground and the new one having some roof, but the new one looks much BIGGER. 2 minutes ago, Mike in Horseheads said: What if the partial roof leaks? We were right below a seem in the roof at the Rockpile. The seem leaked, and when it rained hard it came down on us like it was shot out of a firehouse! 😂 Ahh, good times….. 1 Quote

Can’t wait until it is! Sounds right. The closer your seats get to the leading edge of the roof the more chance that wind blown rain will get to you. Remember, that roof is MANY stories above your seat and unless it’s completely calm out (which it rarely is when a weather front is moving through) you could get wet. Your best bet is to sit on the west side of the upper deck as most fronts come from the lake. Edited Friday at 06:59 PM by SoCal Deek 1 Quote

Any moisture comes off the roof above and drips, drips, drips right onto your head all game. Quote

Down payment of $1000 on the spot if choosing the 20 month payment option @$200 per month, or the M&T Bank finance option of 6 years at about $72 bucks per month and paying about $1,500 in interest. Wow !! Ok for 4 seats, I'm assuming Bills fans will want to take 1 wife, 1 son and 1 daughter to games So that is 10K in psl's. 2500 x 4 200 per month for 1 psl so 800 a month for 4 PSLs and 4k down on the spot for the 20 month option Then to sit your but down in the seat it will be 1700 a month for 1 season ticket or 6800 for 4 season tickets. So 16,800 to have a family of 4 sit to watch Bills games All of this for a stadium that is not a dome I didnt realize Bills fans were so wealthy Edited Friday at 09:35 PM by JakeFrommStateFarm 2 1 Quote
