The steepness of the upper deck in this new stadium is worrisome for me.  When in London for the Jags game and in the stadium ours is being modeled after, the upper decks were super steep.  I worry about older and drunk people navigating them.  Yes, the upper deck is closer to the field than before, but to compensate for that and get as many seats in, they are at a much steeper angle.

When you see the stadium seating charts from the side view, that also shows canopy coverings, you can see it there too.

I'm also surprised to see PSL's in the upper deck starting at $2,500 on the visitor side.

Virgil, it’s a necessity of the design. If you’ve ever been to the Rose Bowl you’d experience the exact opposite. That single deck huge bowl is built right into the ground so by definition it’s very shallow. In fact, when you’re there it’s hard to imagine it seats 100,000. But the new Bills stadium is the exact opposite. It is virtually all above grade. It’s essentially a large steel framed donut-shape building with seats on the inner side. The only way to do it, without having larger than necessary enclosed concourses is to go vertical. It’s just geometry.

steep like the orange seats in the AUD ?

I don't know but its pretty darn steep.

One saving grace is that there are only ~15 rows up there. So you're not falling far.

The Ralph has what? 30-some rows in the upper deck?

I've been to alot of steep stadiums like you are talking about.

I think you have to hold onto the rail tightly and look down at the steps being careful of every step you take.

I don't think it's practical for elderly people

Well then the drunks should do well and once some snow blows up there will make sliding down easy and quick

Exactly. Older folks - or even late middle aged people that expect to hold onto their tickets - have to consider what those steep steps are going to be like in rain, ice and snow.

I think that picture is playing tricks on your eyes since it's taken from atop the enclosed press boxes. The leeward side (near Abbott) has ~30 rows, the majority of which are covered. But no question it will be steeper than the current stadium.

I know someone who was at Tottenham which our stadium was modeled after and he said the upper level was very steep and the isle narrow

True. Here is a view from underneath if it helps.

I was there. It wasn’t a problem.

That was my first thought. Going to Braves games and being in the first row. You'd pay extra attention when you got to those last steps before row 1. A trip and you're over the edge

Going today.

Currently sit section 333 halfway up.

Nervous how much the PSL’s will be.  Heard 5k per seat….  Can’t believe that to be true.

I would imagine the Bills are letting you spread out the payments over time like 5 or 10 years. I know the Jets and Giants did that. They even allowed up to 15 years. Many can't afford to make that kind of a payment in one shot.

I’ve heard 5 years 10% interest.

You also have 0% if you can pay it off prior to stadium opening. Unsure of what the cutoff date is to pay it off.
