NakedSquid Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Allen breaks a run to the Miami secondary and its just Poyer...does Allen 1 Quote
Alphadawg7 Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Allen will just run right past Poyer, he is probably faster than Poyer at this point. 5 10 Quote

But in my imagination, Josh trucks him and then kind of trips up and goes down shortly after the hit. Both guys get up, share a laugh and hug, and neither takes a shot to their ego. 6 Quote
biggerdaddynj Posted March 19 Posted March 19 I’m more interested in what Josh will do after he picks up our first Lombardi Trophy. 2 Quote

FireChans Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Poyer will take a long angle because he a runs like a DT at this point, will get just close enough to watch Allen celebrate in the end zone. Quote

No_Matter_What Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Slightly OT, but if anyone here played football - if you are running at full speed, do you have time to notice who is the defender? I've only played basketball and I always knew who is who, but I guess it is slightly different in football... Quote
LarryMadman Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Allen probably wont need to run as he will torch Poyer through the air. Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Honestly, with the contract Poyer signed I think it's rather presumptuous that he even makes the Miami roster. I would definitely put him in the category of "see how the draft plays out". Could easily see Miami grab a safety by the end of day 2 and Poyer could very well end up back on the FA market. Quote

Yes but I never played at college level and I was a short yardage backup with very little juice but a lot of pop. Quote
ExiledInIllinois Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Trucks through him into the end zone mouthing the words: "I'm home Rachel!" 1 Quote
BarleyNY Posted March 19 Posted March 19 Truck. Poyer is likely semi-retired now so he will probably try to avoid any real contact. Quote
