Report: India Wants ‘Equitable Trade Deal,’ Not ‘Confrontation,’ After Trump Tariffs

An Indian government official reportedly told Bloomberg News on Sunday that his government is “unlikely to immediately retaliate against President Donald Trump’s tariff imposition.”

Instead, New Delhi hopes to work out a deal to reduce tariffs and trade barriers on both sides, according to the media outlet. The unnamed bureaucrat expressed India’s desire to seek “dialogue and not confrontation” and “work toward a balanced and equitable trade deal with the U.S.”

Are you even employed?

Yes, I took a page out of trumps playbook. I don't pay taxes, I stif all the contractors that work for me. I have filled for bankruptcy 3 times since trump was elected. I only have 3 more tomes to go to catch him!

Heck, this is good training to be a politician. I might even run for office some day.

These ***** idiots have no clue what they’re doing…and the lemmings keep posting Fox News graphics to defend them.

Today the trade secretary said Canada and Mexico were getting the 10% baseline tariff…they an hour later the WH said it wasn’t sure, another hour later they weren’t getting it.

And these idiots are going to go toe-to-toe with China? A powerful, smart and ruthless country…good ***** luck.

Everything is working as planned.  the art of the deal...

https://www.marketwatch.com/articles/u-s-budget-deficit-first-half-fiscal-2025-c1468ba5

The spending deficit is up over the first six months of the government fiscal year, which started October 1, 2024 and ended March 31st.

So literally three months of Biden's presidency, and three months of Trump.

And you're blaming the April tariffs, which don't even fall into the timeline...

Meanwhile, Biden added 9 trillion in debt in four years.

Shocking that the interest on debt is higher now than four years ago.

Not blaming the tariffs.  I'm pointing out that there is still going to be a 1.5 T deficit despite all the hoopla about DOGE and all the chaos.  And much of that deficit is due to renewing massive tax breaks to the rich.  How's all that helping main street USA?

Is the Democratic Party interested in Main St USA?

They failed to communicate that in 2024.
