Andy1 Posted Sunday at 11:05 PM Posted Sunday at 11:05 PM For those interested in the math behind the Trump tax, they didn’t even do the math right. I guess that par for the course with this clown show. https://www.axios.com/2025/04/06/trump-tariffs-error-aei The formula used by the Trump administration to levy reciprocal tariffs contains a serious math error that over-inflates the impact by about a factor of four, economists at the American Enterprise Institute said. Why it matters: The conservative think tank says the error led to tariff rates massively higher than they should have been to achieve the goals the administration sought. 3

They used retail instead of wholesale.

The protest was the highlight of the weekend for me. Felt so good to do something, anything. and then to hang out for a few hours with 500 people. I knew probably 20 that were there, before Saturday. Know a few more now but mostly just acquaintances. But it was community and it was real. Lawn mowing, gardening, golfing just weren't quite as cool or engaging. We chanted "This is what democracy looks like" and I believe it.. No masks, no combat fatigues, no zip ties, no angry words, no guns. You outta try it. And it continues on social media with vids from here and all over the country. Asheville had 5000. Boston, DC, SF, NYC, Columbus, Ann Arbor, Buffalo and 1300 other sites, millions more. Comments from everywhere. This is more grass roots than MAGA ever was and folks are very motivated. Democracy will perservere. Edited yesterday at 01:10 AM by Joe Ferguson forever
Mikie2times Posted yesterday at 01:54 AM Posted yesterday at 01:54 AM (edited) Doesn’t appear like a market bottom is in site. Futures are 3% down. Worst route since Covid. I don’t imagine FOX will have tickers running this week. Trump will celebrate Zimbabwe negotiations. In a matter of 3 trading days we are approaching a Bear market from all time highs just weeks ago. Incredible. I’m 42 and the only comparable market events I saw to this was housing crash and Covid. Edited yesterday at 01:56 AM by Mikie2times

Came up empty. Only story was about a positive jobs report. Nothing about the market down 2k. Everyone on the right is a programmed trump puppet. 1

Andy1 Posted yesterday at 02:38 AM Posted yesterday at 02:38 AM (edited) Are we in the 25th Amendment territory? That’s a serious question as any sane president would not be celebrating the beauty of the loss of trillions of dollars of wealth from millions of Americans. He seems to be completely detached from reality. Edited yesterday at 02:39 AM by Andy1 2
