if I was worth $150 mil, I could live with that error.  As it  is,  I can live with that error.  If the market doesn't bounce back within a couple years, I will have to live with the error of not pulling out, but much less comfortably.  So what are you doing with your market holdings right now?  let's see how your prediction works out in 1 or 2 years.  Go on record.

I'm staying the course and buying where I can. Thanks for your concern.

so you timed the market?  just remember that you need to time your return into it.  your halfway there.

Time in the market is always better than timing the market.  Unless you’re this All Pro Bills guy who loves trump but apparently doesn’t believe in either him or the economy.

Gotta be hard with all that inflation Trump hasn’t done anything about.  LIV golf gets attention.  Teslas get attention.  The American consumer does not.

I want to know the specifics.  If gov't bonds go up, that means more cost servicing the national debt...same with CD's and most "safe" interest bearing investments.

Inflation is cooling, if you didn't know.

None of those questions were asked when prices across the board spiked from 2022-2024.

None of those questions were asked when 15 days became indefinitely.

The answer is “when we get this ship right” that’s the answer.

Or just continue printing and throwing money at the problem.

I can’t speak to what questions were asked during the inflation crisis, but I’m sure you know exactly what was and wasn’t asked, lol.

But to “what about Biden” this moment is ridiculous. The inflation crisis was caused by supply chain issues, that’s been established and accepted by people who deal in reality.

This tariff crisis is completely Trump-inflicted, so the questions I posed should 100% be asked and answered. The fact that you, a Trump cultist, think it’s acceptable for Trump to cause a financial disaster, with unsound economic reasoning, and not provide a detailed plan or exit strategy is sad. Give yourself a round of applause, you are such a great lemming.

Tariffs are helping with that.  Hoax.  Inflation is still hot, just less hot.

He isn’t “causing” a financial disaster.

He inherited one.

Where a consequence of remedying it the right way is going to mean some short term problems.  With long run economic stability and sanity being restored.

And no, it wasn’t supply chain issues.  It was that we put 10 trillion dollars of government spending into an economy where we made everyone stay home in order to keep us afloat all for a flu we still have no answers to.

Its interesting to see MAGA happily adopt the “you should have nothing nice, you will eat the bug” mentality.

Are you smoking meth on this wonderful Friday?

your intellectual dishonesty is hilarious if not profoundly sad.  you asked for data.  I provided it.  you reject it out of hand, without data to support your "argument".  btw, what does race have to do with it?  look it up.  As Frank pointed out, there are plenty of whites in that demographic including Vance's family members.  losers....As far as why the losers (like you?) changed their party, it's multifactorial but anger, resentment, the longing to believe in an economic and cultural messiah and the belief they have found someone who (pretends to) listen to them all play a role.

It's not an argument.  You provided me a link that killed your premise.  Fifty-one percent is not "mostly voted for Trump."

You're wasting your time Doctor.

Joe is incapable of admitting his mistakes.   Proven time and time again.

I see that.  I'd read the fine print with that Honda article though.

"Honda has made no such announcement and will not comment on this report. The Honda Civic has been made in our Indiana Auto Plant since the facility opened in 2008 based on our longstanding approach to build products close to the customer. We have the flexibility to produce products in each region based on customer needs and market conditions."

Oh, I know that everything is flexible with these kinds of announcements, thanks.

The Tariff Game.

by JefferyCarter

“Every Democrat took to X and said, Trump campaigned on ending inflation but tariffs are going to increase inflation. I knew Democrats couldn’t grasp economic concepts before, but now they are full-throated in their ignorance.”

“The way $DOGE is working, they are uncovering billions and billions of government largesse and waste.

We will see budget cuts in the 20% of the budget that is discretionary.

Interestingly, if we spent at 2019 levels and took in taxes as we did in 2023, the US Budget would be in surplus and we’d be paying debt down.

Ending 100% of all payments to NGOs is a fantastic idea. We will save trillions. . . . Trump is getting a lot of stuff done that people in the US have wanted en masse for years.

Who hasn’t heard a liberal or a conservative say they want good government? Who hasn’t heard someone say they want to eliminate waste? All the crying you hear today is from people actually seeing waste get eliminated.”

But read the whole thing.
