It’s not something that will get fixed regardless if you do nothing or build a wall. All this is just symbolic so he can beat his chest. What will happen next week is him costing me money. In a real way. Not a symbolic one.

What are you talking about?  You're saying that Trump won't be able to fix the problem of illegals coming into the country?

Of course he won’t fix it. You can improve it if your measurement of improving it is in people coming and going void of costs, time, jobs and all the other variables that are involved in “fixing” it. You can’t stop it. We just don’t have the resources.

My brother is an ICE officer. Sunday he got a called in with mandatory OT as did all ICE officers for the next 7 days. So let’s deport some people he says. Don’t know where to put them, no planes, jails but hey, let’s go full mandatory OT and do it anyway. Sounds like a good use of resources? Yes he likes Trump and that’s fine.

At the end of the day people with crap lives are going to want to go to places that are nicer and nothing Trump does is going to stop them from trying. Whenever he’s done with his political career the next guys probably not going to waste the time, energy, and resources he has. Then all of his fixing will be rolled back in a few years because maybe somebody thinks  the time, money, and resources could be spent better and would you blame them if that is the case?

Do you expect to personally benefit from this massive effort to limit immigration? Did you violently hurt as a result of the immigrants that were let in?

Don’t minimize the Laken Riley’s and Rachel Morin’s among many others just because you don’t like Trump. A disgusting comment.

K buddy, how about all the bazillion American born citizens that commit crimes. You plan on stopping all them as well? I would imagine they make up about 100000000000% more of the crime in the US than those immigrants do. Not as sexy to create programs to reduce violence in America from Americans it appears.

Fine then, let's take that mentality and let everyone in.  Can't hurt us, right?

I won't feel pain either way.  But we're spending $150B annually on illegals which works out to about $900 per taxpayer.  And that's something I have to spend.  The tariffs probably won't be around long and if they are, I'll just avoid things affected by them if I don't want to pay too much.

we have more money for programs if the violent illegals arent here. but because joe was literally asleep the last four years apparently you have to defend all the ***** whoever was in power did or didn't do. (also where is the investigation into who was actually running the country) Less crime is better for the country.

Seems like a dumb thing to say. What do you imagine I am coping over?

Being wrong about stuff. Such as believing that MAGA is the party of no war.

Mr. Trump says the tariffs will revive U.S. manufacturing. But Jay Timmons, CEO of the National Association of Manufacturers, said in a statement that “a 25% tariff on Canada and Mexico threatens to upend the very supply chains that have made U.S. manufacturing more competitive globally.”

Upsetting the economy? Hurting the USA? Wrecking businesses?
