The numbers don't lie man, regardless how you feel.

They tend to prefer feels over facts.

Even Rasmussen's tracker has Trump underwater now. And 43% say the country is heading in the right direction.

Do you know what a “mean” is?

To ask that question is to answer it.

I don’t believe it’s idiocy, I believe it’s strategy.

I don't even know if the calculation if the yearly money businesses and people saved from the 2017 TCJA Trump passed makes up for the money the taxpayers are now going to lose from these asinine tariffs. It's like losing 30 pounds and then eating 3 gallons of melting ice cream a day for a month.

Unrelated to your post, I want to tell @Joe Ferguson forever I have seen all episodes of Taxi and all three Back to The Future movies (some on multiple occasions) and have no idea how tall Christopher LLoyd is, or how much he weighs without checking.  Tall, skinny is my best guess in case it comes up.

TOKYO (Reuters) -Honda is considering switching some car production from Mexico and Canada to the United States, aiming for 90% of cars sold in the country to be made locally in response to new U.S. auto tariffs, the Nikkei newspaper reported on Tuesday.

Japan's second-biggest automaker by sales plans to increase U.S. vehicle production by as much as 30% over two to three years in response to U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to put a 25% levy on imported vehicles, Nikkei said.

Tariffs are advertised in the name of helping American workers, but what do you know? They turn out to favor the powerful and politically connected. That’s the main message of President Trump’s decision to exempt smartphones and assorted electronic goods from his most onerous tariffs.

No.
