The tariffs might force the Federal Reserve to not cut interest rates because of the inflation pressure. You understand that slows growth, hurts America and there is no good reason for the tariffs?

Biden never attacked the American economy

Democrats are better for economy

We'll see how long the 'federal reserve' lasts.

Taxes on everyone to help the wealthy keep their taxes lower. Trump is waging class warfare against his brain dead supporters

This is exactly what it is.  Shift the tax structure from income to consumption.  It's even better for rich folks that Steve Forbes's flat tax nonsense.

Expect domestic beer prices to increase, not to mention building materials. This will certainly help inflation.

MAGA is going to have to transition full time to meth.  And HCQ.  And then blame Democrats for the increase in the price of Natty Light.

Yup, some of the parts cross back and forth acorss the border several times, just chaos

https://www.mediaite.com/news/costs-and-chaos-ford-ceo-warns-trump-tariffs-will-blow-a-hole-in-auto-industry/

Ford CEO Jim Farley warned that President Donald Trump’s tariff threats will “blow a hole” in the auto industry and manufacturers faced a spike in “costs” and “chaos.”

Speaking at a Wolfe Research conference on Tuesday, according to Axios, Farley warned that Trump’s tariff-heavy trade tactics, whether targeting neighbors like Canada and Mexico or raw materials like steel and aluminum, are poised to wreak havoc on his industry.

Ken Griffin, founder of investment firm Citadel, warned Tuesday that President Donald Trump's tariff policies pose a serious risk to America's economic growth.

He said they may force other countries to find new trade alliances, as he criticized Trump's 'bombastic rhetoric.'

'The uncertainty and chaos created by the tariff dynamics between us and our allies is an impediment to growth,' he told the audience at a conference hosted by UBS Group.

Yes trump has placed 25% tariff on steel and aluminum from Canada on top if the 25% he already promised and postponed for 30 days. That was confirmed by the Whitehouse spokesman last night. So steel and aluminum costs increase by 50%...that is good for all and solves all the problem.

So, US producers of cars that use Canadian steel and aluminum get 50% increase, parts for auto from the rest of the world and Canada (including production by GM, Ford, Toyota, Honda etc) go up by 25%, cars produced from Japan, Korea, Europe, Canada, Mexico go up by 25%. That helps everyone.

Just insanity. The child wants to punish the American consumer to just be a punk

https://www.cnbc.com/2025/02/12/mexico-canada-tariffs-could-add-6000-to-the-cost-of-a-car-by-one-estimate.html

A new car would cost about $5,790 more if President Donald Trump’s plans for 25% tariffs on Mexico and Canada go into effect, according to an estimate from Benchmark.

Benchmark found that more than 22% of finished cars and about 40% of auto parts come to America from the two trading partners.

The auto industry is among the “most exposed” to the risk of higher tariffs, the investment bank said.

Wow, it’s almost like the point of all the aid cuts wasn’t actually to help balance the budget! How interesting is that.

Which equates to one hell of a good compensation for the fiscal hawks, when they cave.  I'm guessing he "ran" on this, too, right???  Meet the new thief.  Same as the old thief.  That'll punch a hole in the debt!  👿  Go ahead and praise him anyways.
