Big Blitz Posted March 15 Posted March 15 He’d be a great add!!! Not following the Chargers at all I didn’t notice they just released him toward the end of the season. Looks like he had a falling out with the coaches or organization. 2 Quote

I hated beane's strategy of going five deep with vets at DT last year. Just burning money. Sign one guy and then draft one or two on day 3. I agree with you.. but I’m predicting they sign a vet back up to Oliver and a vet to back up DQJ … it’s just what they seem to do 🤷♂️ Edited March 15 by Aussie Joe Quote
QCity Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Well we need rotational guys and he shouldn't cost that much. IIRC he flipped out and wanted to be released after they fired Staley so they cut him. 1 Quote

SoTier Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Here's a write up on Joseph-Day plus 3 other defensive players from an Eagles' site: 4 Free Agents Joseph-Day seems a worthwhile pick up since the Bills use a DL rotation. 2 Quote

He was cut from the Los Angeles Chargers in December but that was largely due to financials and their season effectively being over. He moved to the 49ers less than a week after that and left the Chargers to provide depth along the defensive line. When he was with the Chargers, he was a defensive captain and was second on the team in quarterback hits. “ Well that’s already a nice upgrade from our DT3/4 3 3 Quote
gonzo1105 Posted March 15 Posted March 15 He was seen as an up and coming DT with the Rams who played well and parlayed that into a semi big deal with the Chargers and didn’t pan out as well as they’d hope. I still think he’d be a good add depending on price. Quote

LABILLBACKER Posted March 15 Posted March 15 As a cheap backup to Ed. I'm fine with that. Who's backing up DQ? Quote

How does that work? I don’t spend much time looking at these numbers. Thanks iirc he was cut by the chargers late in the season and signed by SF Quote
947 Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Is a Linval Joseph return an option? Or is he gonna sign with a team mid-season again? Quote

wppete Posted March 16 Posted March 16 He looks good. Would be a great rotational guy and hopefully at a great price. Would love to see this signing. Quote
