Will be interesting to see if he qualifies for comp pick. Nothing more than a 7th but that would put us at our max of 4 and Tyrel Dodson is still out there who I’m surprised hasn’t gotten any traction that we know of

Yes. It means the Pats will get a 4th out of it.

To my understanding is that it starts at $3.5M   This appears to be $7M over two years, however there are incentives which I don't believe qualifies as counted income.   I could be wrong.

If it’s a high enough base salary yet. It will be close to be honest. If it’s 2 years 6 million yes. If it’s 2 years 5 million with 2 mill in incentives no. Looks like the cutoff is around 2.6 or 2.7 million

Were they the figures from last year?

They will increase this year … the bigger cap has led to inflation this FA

I agree - though this move doesn't really move the needle for them.

sorry meant to quote you. Looks like OTC has it between 3 million which qualifies at least for now and 2.6 doesn’t so it’s somewhere between that. Now if more over 3 million contracts get signed it may push 3 million out of the top 32

Yeah .. attempting humour based on it being said repeatedly this free agency period ..

Obviously a little too subtle

If the highlight of your time with a team was the "woo!" you screamed at your introductory press conference, then chances are it didn't go so well.

I literally do not remember anything else about this guy in the couple of years he's been here.
