Somewhere between picks 4-8 Roger walks up to the microphone and announces:  We have a trade.  Buffalo has traded (a small boatload of picks) to (team to be named) and is now on the clock.  And we get one of the top 3 rated WRs in the draft.

Beane and McD have said they need to get more explosive.  And they’ll do that by getting more explosive with their moves to draft an explosive WR for Josh.

Stevie Wonder? Ray Charles? Jose Feliciano?

Beane trades up to low 20s to grab our #1 WR going forward IMO.  Mitchell is the guy we trade up for IMO

I don't know. A guy who admittedly (conserves his energy) when he knows the ball ain't coming to him....and not noted for "making himself available to the QB on

busted plays, does not give me the process feeling.

On the other hand Legette who has faced a lot of trials and adversity, worked his butt off to get to this point, screams process and character. The kind of guy who

could look like an Eric Moulds...ish....and it's possible to maybe trade down a little, pick up a 3rd.

Agreed.  Those day 3 picks will be valuable for moving up in Rd 2 though.

Say to jump ahead of Steelers, move from Pick 60 to Pick 50.  Both Steelers and Bills have very similar positional needs: WR, Safety, Center

Trade lower picks for a 3rd.  Right now, we’re looking at going 67 picks between our 2nd and the first 4th round pick.

I hope Beane can control himself this year and not give up picks to move up a few spots for a guy he wants.  I have some doubts and his track record hasn’t been good.

This draft might be the most important draft Buffalo has had in 3 years. We need every pick, we need the scouts to be extra scoutie.  We need need our middle rounders to make the team.

Everyone saying we need the picks to fill out the roster. How many players did we sign last offseason for 1.7 mil? They were proven NFL players too, not unknown rookies. Buffalo fans' obsession with draft picks and cap space is annoying and clearly residual mental damage from the drought.

Any idea how much draft capital is needed to go from 28 to top 10?

IMO…very very small chance of this happening.

The Bills got the minimum from  KC a  on the pick  for Mahomes and that was the next years 1st along with the current 1st and a 3rd rounder.

I wouldnt go up more than a few spots.  Roster is too thin to trade up too high.  Need probably 9 of the 11 picks minimum.

Completely agree.  I don't expect us to move up in RD1.. maybe even moving back given the league's shenanigans with our RD3 vanishing pick.  However, I expect us to be very active on Day 2.

If realistically we have no shot at Thomas or Mitchell,  then yes by all means trade the 28th for an extra 2nd and 3rd.

Day 3 guys are half the price and on the roster for 4 years. Going the merc route is fine but you are in the same place the following year.   This year Buffalo should be players with UFA’s aswell.  Less packed 53 so more chances for guys to make the roster.

Ignored my point about day 3 guys being unproven. They're unlikely to even make the roster.

Probably 28 plus Diggs (never happening) is the only thing that could move them up that far. Not enough high picks

JSN fell to 20 last year. Wouldn't cost too much to get to that range if someone falls.

How much is “not too much”?  We don’t have a 3rd.

2 2nds, this years and next, probably gets it done. Obviously for the right player.

I was speaking relative to those discussing getting up in the top ten.

Actually, looking at this chart I just googled, one 2nd would be enough to get to 20. https://www.drafttek.com/NFL-Trade-Value-Chart.asp

If that’s the decision, I’m behind it.  I just don’t see Beane being ok waiting til rd 4 for his 2nd selection.

Diggs included in a package to move up would get Beane an instant hangup.
