boyst Posted March 12 Posted March 12 You can't make this ***** up... Quote The NFL had to make a slight change to the 2024 draft order on Monday after the league realized that it had made a mistake when handing out compensatory picks over the weekend. The NFL has now corrected the mistake and now that the error has been fixed, the Cincinnati Bengals are going to come away as the biggest winner. When the league originally handed out the compensatory picks, the Bengals were awarded two extra slots in the sixth-round (208th and 214th overall). How we did not get one for Edmunds blows my mind. 1 2 1 Quote

The Jokeman Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Yeah I'm still questioning how the 49ers got a 3rd for Jimmy G, sure he got money but didn't live up to the contract. In the very least can say Edwards played well for the Bears. 1 1 Quote

ngbills Posted March 12 Posted March 12 So Bates 4/$64M beats out Edmunds 4/$72M? Edmunds is paid higher at his position than Bates in relation to other guys signed. Very odd how NFL is making these decisions. 4 Quote

BuffaloRebound Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Just get rid of comp picks. If NFL can’t even correctly compute their own formulas, it’s beyond time to eliminate it. Same with the minority coach comp picks. It’s a noble intention but find a better way to incentivize it or penalize a lack of diversity. 5 5 1 Quote
