Warriorspikes51 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 (edited) Guessing Reader is out of our price range. I do like DQ please stay healthy we’ll take Reader too thanks Beane😂 Edited March 12 by Warriorspikes51 Quote
SCBills Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Did Cover1 just break this news over everyone? Impressive. Im guessing Jones gave them the heads up before posting himself a few minutes later? 1 Quote
julian Posted March 12 Posted March 12 This is excellent, you know exactly what you’re getting from DQ, he’s been excellent. This is setting up for a WR draft and I’m here for it. 7 1 Quote

They are tight with Jones and Gabe Davis so they had a lot of immediate details on how Davis' deal went down. 1 Quote
somnus00 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Just needs to stay healthy. He was playing at all-pro levels before his injury last season. The season before, I thought he was our defensive MVP. 7 1 Quote
Doc Brown Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Beane burning the midnight oil like usual. Glad to have him back. It's cool Jones gave Cover 1 the breaking news. 7 Quote
HappyDays Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Hmm. Guess it was a bad year to need DL help. We are bringing back the same underperforming group and hoping for the best. I'm a little perplexed about Beane's strategy these past couple weeks. Cut underperforming overpaid players, then turn around and re-sign a bunch of guys in the same bucket. I'm sure the real numbers aren't so bad. Hopefully he's healthy and gives us the level of play we got before his injury. I'm not upset about this individual signing. Just confused about what the plan is. 2 2 5 6 2 1 1 7 Quote

mrags Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Ugh. Great. 2 years of overpaid and overrated for a 32+ year old guy that won’t stay healthy for the 2 years. And we wonder why we get into cap trouble. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. 4 2 9 5 3 2 1 6 Quote
Warriorspikes51 Posted March 12 Posted March 12 1 more DT to replace Phillips / Settle then 1 in the draft would be my guess Reader - highly unlikely now (but oh my!) Rankins Roach 2 1 Quote
Process Posted March 12 Posted March 12 No brainer. Great move. Now that's enough re-signing guys. Let everyone else go, not interested in bringing back anyone else. We need some fresh young faces on the d line and at WR. 3 5 1 Quote
