DCofNC Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Good for him, he will feast out there with all the attention brought to others. 1 Quote
Dillenger4 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 This one hurts - Floyd was a beast. 10 sacks? or more? Anyway, he will be missed. We are losing a lot of good players! Floyd Morse. Davis. (Hurts more than people know). Poyer/Hyde combine as 1 for me. Hope Beane has a plan and acts fast. If you think the draft is gonna hit on filling these spots you are on glue. 1 1 1 Quote
SoCal Deek Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I loved his motor and effort. He really showed our younger guys what NFL pass rushers are supposed to look like. 1 Quote

Yeah, I think he’s best suited as a complimentary piece and we relied too heavily on him being the guy after his start to the season. They should expect him to produce with Bosa opposite. 1 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Looks like the Bills had to pick between Floyd and AJ. I like that they went younger. We need to get young on that side of the ball. Quote

The NFL will not disclose their formula. Overthecap seemed to have it nailed down, but not on that pick. Edmunds missed some time this season and playing time factors into the formula. Total speculation on my part, but that may have been it. He was calculated as giving us the lowest 3rd round comp pick - other than the ones given to teams that have minority GMs and HCs hired away. 1 Quote
davefan66 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Loved what he brought to the team. Would have loved to keep him, but ok to with him leaving knowing we have AJ back. Hopefully he takes the next step. Quote
BillsPride12 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Floyd was always just going to be a hired gun for the 2023 season. Thank you for your service 2 Quote

Floyd’s production came in spurts and early in the season. 8 of his sacks came in 4 games. He never had a sack in December or January when the team needed him. Dont get me wrong. He’s a good vet to have on defense and a great signing by Beane. Not at $10M a season. Quote
Man with No Name Posted March 11 Posted March 11 we have to be all in on Von being Von again. If he is, floyd is a luxury we just couldn't afford to have again Quote
tomur67 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I guess that means CHOP is our first pick in the draft. Quote
FLFan Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Too much for this player for the Bills. He was a total non factor in the last quarter of the season and playoffs. Thanks for the memories, but goodbye. Quote
JerseyBills Posted March 11 Posted March 11 He had one of the plays of the year when he crushed delusional Jets fans and took out ARod. He did fall off but he's still a very good DE 1 Quote
