Einstein Posted March 11 Author Posted March 11 This guy has to be the GOAT at contract negotiations. This contract puts him at over $400M in career earnings. 2 7 2 Quote
GunnerBill Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Atlanta needed a Quarterback. No idea what the Vikings plan is now. 1 Quote
Blank Stare Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Cousins has played the business side of the nfl better than just about anybody. 3 8 Quote
Bruffalo Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Kirk Cousins has generated generational wealth. He's a slightly above average QB but a shrewd businessman. Wild. 5 Quote

Their coach made several comments about letting Kirk see the market. How he "earned" it, etc. Welp, he saw the market alright. 1 Quote

I know Mock drafts aren’t everything but in over half of the simulations I ended up running post-combine, they were trading up and selecting Daniels or Maye… Ironically enough the team they traded with more often than not was Atlanta @ 8. Someone who watched the show "Quarterback" told me that of all the guys they showed, Kirk came away as the absolute best. Just a really likeable human. I hanve't seen it yet so I can't confirm/deny. 2 Quote
Process Posted March 11 Posted March 11 I wonder if the Vikings showed any interest in Russ. From his standpoint, Minnesota would seem to be a much more attractive option than Pittsburgh. Now Minnesota is left with a top WR duo, stud TE, and no QB. 1 Quote
HurlyBurly51 Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Bears are scrambling to unload Fields. Many thought Atlanta would be his landing spot. 1 Quote

Like I'm sure he's a nice guy, but what would make anyone think he's anything more than a bridge at this point? 2 Quote

Especially for a team in an absolutely abysmal division. Win-win for both parties. 1 Quote
