Some of us want to fly higher than an Allen 70 yard bomb😂 I'm not against Simmons. Certainly wouldn't be "spiting me" to bring him in. I just think he's going to be a Calvin Ridley type situation for the Safety position, wherein his number is significantly more than others (save for, maybe, Xavier McKinney). It wouldn't shock me at all if he got more than what Arik Armstead got. And I've heard him talked about with a number of teams who have a lot of money still. Quote

My brother in law is a cowboys fan I asked him what’s going on with Tyron Smith he said point blank he just can’t play anymore. So he makes the perfect Jet. 3 Quote
BBFL Posted March 16 Posted March 16 (edited) Van Jefferson to the Steelers apparently…? Harris/Warren Pickens/Austin/Jefferson/Calloway/Mims Freiermuth/Washington Not a bad set of pieces for Wilson and that offense. Edited March 16 by BBFL Quote

His salary guarantees on 3/17, but that wouldn’t have any impact on a trade. It’s not like a team trading for him wouldn’t expect him to play for them this season. The only thing it impacts is releasing him - which I don’t think is happening until next offseason. I think the Bills would be happy to trade Diggs (especially after 6/1), but I don’t think it happens either. Edited March 17 by BarleyNY Quote
BBFL Posted March 16 Posted March 16 2 hours ago, SoonerBillsFan said: Wilson still sucks. He should have retired 3 years ago Eh, he isn’t great but I think he can be competent on that Steelers team. Decent defense, great skill players. They just needed average play last year and they get in the playoffs… No different than Denver the year they acquired Wilson… I remember reading a statistic that if they averaged 20.5ppg, providing the defenses played the same each game, they would have walked away with the number 1 seed. Wilson needs a productive run game to be successful at this point in his career. That 2022 season their whole RB room; Javonte Williams, Murray, Gordon & Edmonds were injury prone. Same last season. Inconsistent run game. Now, don’t get me wrong. I’m not saying that Wilson will turn it around but the play from those 2 years was better than Pittsburgh had… Couple that with what should be a reasonable game that can support his deficiencies and it could work out. BillsFanForever19 Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Damn. I really thought Adam Butler would have been a good fit for us as a Rotational DT that wouldn't break the bank. 5 Sacks and 8 TFL's on 0 starts last season. Quote
BillsFanForever19 Posted March 17 Posted March 17 I feel like Mike Edwards is someone we'll be in on at Safety. Quote
