Saxum Posted March 10 Posted March 10 There are some KC fans who will give tips of their fingers for KC Kings to keep the throne given to them by NFL. 1 1 3 Quote

beebe Posted March 10 Posted March 10 The fact that it's 5 years suggests to me that this was a Chiefs-friendly deal, but we shall see soon enough. 1 Quote
Success Posted March 10 Posted March 10 He's as important on that team as anyone not named Mahomes & Kelce. Kind of bummed he'll be there awhile, but certainly a smart move for them to do this. 1 9 Quote
Nephilim17 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Glad it's the highest ever. If they're going to have great players I want them to pay through the teeth. 3 5 Quote
beebe Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Curious to see what the signing bonus is. Cap specialists that know more than me can correct if wrong, but pretty sure they'll be able to spread that out over the five years even though they'll likely have an easy way out after 3. Quote
QB Bills Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Hate this. Guy was the best player on either side of the field against the Bills and in the Super Bowl and should have been the unanimous MVP. 1 1 Quote

Why would you franchise him at nearly $23M last year just to give him a record breaking $19M deal the following year? I’m sure they lost sleep over that on their way to 2 SB rings 1 Quote
bills6969 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Wow KC’s FO couldn’t round it up to 100m? What a way to treat the best defensive player in the league. 2 Quote

He turns 30 in a few months though. We can only hope this turns into a Von Miller situation where he loses it in a couple years. 1 minute ago, Warriorspikes51 said: I’m sure they lost sleep over that on their way to 2 SB rings They would have had those rings even if they gave him this deal last year. I have no idea why they played hard ball with him last offseason, which pissed him off so much that he sat out games (though he clearly got over it), just to give him a record setting deal less than 8 months later. I guess I don’t see the benefit in that. I would have given him this deal last year, is my point. Alls well that ends well I guess. 1 Quote
BillsFan130 Posted March 10 Posted March 10 95 guaranteed over "5 years." Probably means it's looking like a 3 year, 32.5 mil per year roughly 3 Quote
Pbomb Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Atleast between sneed and jones staying they used up a lot of their cap space 4 Quote

Would give them four picks in first three rounds, two of which will likely be a WR. Edited March 10 by beebe 2 Quote
