BuffaloBillyG Posted March 8 Posted March 8 TE room is now locked in. He's a pretty good #3 TE. Versatile. Will update with contract when available. 20 6 1 3 Quote
transplantbillsfan Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Joe Marino and Greg Tompsett and their ilk basically guaranteed he'd be back because he was an Exclusive Rights Free Agent, which means if the Bills wanted him, they could have him at the minimum and he couldn't go anywhere else. Â I think Joe Marino in his last "what I would do" podcast for the offseason said it's a contract worth $985k 4 Quote
Beast Posted March 8 Posted March 8 I like Morris. He can get down the field and make a catch or two if needed. 1 6 Quote
The Jokeman Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Meh. As long as he got less than $1.5 million per season. 2 Quote
Augie Posted March 8 Posted March 8 So, he’s not quitting?   😋  I’m sure it’s not too pricey, so this is good with me. We need to keep some familiar bodies around.  Quote
BigAl2526 Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Quinton Morris is a bit on the short side, but that's not a concern in my mind for a third stringer. I find myself wondering if for the few times the Bills line up a fullback in the backfield Morris could fill that role in addition to being the 3rd string TE. Nothing against Gilliam, who is a good fullback and came out of college as a short tight end, but if the Bills can save a roster spot and get more reps for the money from Morris, that is a good thing. 1 Quote

I like Morris...slippery and smooth. I think Gilliam is maybe the last Tolbert to McD's past. Waste of money IMO. Maybe now Scorpion can take TE off his mock drafts and soon come around to the Bills only going for a big RB come UFDA. Quote
Ethan in Cleveland Posted March 8 Posted March 8 I'd rather keep Morris than Gilliam. Don't really think they need either.  Quote

NewEra Posted March 8 Posted March 8 Good.  He can make plays and has been improving as a blocker.  He’s a solid TE3 imo 1 1 Quote
