Buffalo Boy Posted March 6 Posted March 6 The night they lost I said the Chiefs were winning it all. The next day I was one who said it was a rebuild and McD needed to go also. Right, right and right!!! This coach absolutely squandered our best chance in decades , multiple seasons in a row. Now , here we are getting ready to rinse and repeat. Never fear, at the beginning of the new season , I’ll pour some more salt in the would and point out that we will never win it all with McD. Peace out till then, Boys and Girls✌️ 3 10 10 4 4 5 Quote

Bruffalo Posted March 6 Posted March 6 They dropped some old players, they’ll be fine. This is the kind of stuff a good GM does. 5 1 1 Quote

Success Posted March 6 Posted March 6 This is the opposing fan sentiment. But we know better here. This team just got younger & faster. If Beane hits on 3-4 picks in this draft, we'll be as good as anyone in the AFC. 1 Quote
billieve420 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Yeah agree there were wasted chances but I am glad they are ripping off the band aid and re-tooling roster with younger players. Couldn't justify running it back with core group with team up against the salary cap. Re-tool, get younger and make another run. With Allen we will be competitive barring injury. You then roll the dice come playoff time and hope you get hot. 1 Quote

Peace out till then, Boys and Girls✌️ Our core is still here. Do you really feel that Tre White, Jordan Poyer, Mitch Morse, Deonte Harty, Nyheim Hines, Ryan Bates, and Siran Neal are what made this team last year? All we did was get out from under guys who were declining, injured, or didn't make an impact. With their exits, improvement is far more likely than decline with their replacements. Peace out till then, Boys and Girls✌️ Dude... what the heck are you talking about????? So because we released a CB who hasn't been healthy or Elite for 3 years, a Safety who is clearly on the decline, a Special Teams Ace who is clearly on the decline, a WR/PR who never remotely lived up to his expectations or contract, a RB/PR who... same thing, and our starting Center who was still good, but old... our window is closed???? I think if anything this might show that Beane and McDermott are looking at this team and trying to ignite new life in it THIS year!!! Those 11 draft picks we have sure will help. Super Bowl!!!! muppy Posted March 6 Posted March 6 (edited) the freak out button has been pushed. This surprises me zero. You can't please everybody. It's simply the business of the NFL. Draft, sign, cut, trade REPEAT over and over again. every team does it. No one should be shocked by this. Root for the laundry people. Don't get overly attached to players. It's a Tough business with a Capital B this team is legit as long we we have #17. I'll save my freak out until its warranted. Edited March 6 by muppy Quote
