section122 Posted March 6 Posted March 6 I really hope not. Draft a guy. At least then there is hope he could be something. Trubisky is a known entity at this point. If the Bills needed to start him they wont be competitive why waste cap space and a roster spot on a guy like that? This is a guy that couldnt beat out kenny pickett or mason rudolph. 2 Quote

I mean, we know what Mitch is I support taking a shot at a guy who can develop into a long term backup, but it would suicidal to count on a late round rookie to be the primary backup. They need a competent veteran behind Josh. 2 1 Quote
Sammy Watkins' Rib Posted March 6 Posted March 6 I couldn’t believe how awful he was for the Steelers these last two seasons. Just dreadful. Played like he was scared and didn’t care. that said, my confidence scale, in Kyle Allen on a scale from 1 to 10 is about a one. 5 Quote
CheshireCT Posted March 6 Posted March 6 8 minutes ago, BananaB said: Hopefully this isn’t top priority. A guy you hope never sees the field unless he’s taking a knee. The backup QB job in this day and age doesn't seem to actually be about playing. When you have a QB like JA17, you're not going to find anyone who can step in and do anything remotely close to what he does. That means if he gets hurt, you're basically screwed anyway. The backup QB is essentially part of the support system for the starter, which means a vet that gets along with Josh and can manage those duties is the right choice. 1 2 Quote
Aussie Joe Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Bills “in conversation” with Trubisky.. ”Will you play for $1.2m”? If the answer is no then they will keep Kyle who will … Quote
