I highly doubt Haack makes the team.  I think Martin is done and they need a body for spring activities and camps.  May draft a P and/or bring in someone else.

I'd be interested in knowing whether there is art to holding a football for a kicker attempting a field goal.

 

The only reason to bring a relatively lousy punter back is that he was quietly excellent at holding footballs for Tyler Bass field goal attempts.

No way he is the punter game 1.  They will draft or sign someone else.  There must be some law that they must always have a punter on the roster, because Martin will be gone soon too

Haack has a $988k cap hit with no dead money.  I don't expect him to be the regular season punter.

I don't rate Haack. Bringing him back when Martin might have missed a playoff game made some sense. Less than a week to prep, familiarity with Bass etc. But bringing him back to be your main punter... yea not a fan.

Considering we brought him back for the Playoffs and then cut him again in favor of a 50% Martin, i'd say he's, at best, a Camp leg.
