Eh.........Beane should save the dialogue and just punch himself in the nuts for that one.  

 

That fail is all on him for signing a guy with sub 200 yards receiving per year who was also coming off missing most of the prior year to injury to that kind of money in the first place.    Just a total dumb@ss signing by Beane.   He did much better with McGovern and the later signings.

Beane is iike a double wizard. He was declared a wizard for signing Harty, and is declared a wizard for releasing Harty the following year.  Double wizards are tough to find.
